Welcome to the Forum wizanhi Think about what you are asking, then you should be able to answer your own question. That is what do you do with your own 4/8 Cores/Threads, their is no real difference. Myself I wish I had one as it would get me to more tasks to run on.

Beautiful PC. Everything is perfect. Only if you should install next graphic card with Hydro Copper block. Maybe I should buy same case DG-87 on Spring and remove everything in living room and connect PC to some 42" 4K TV? Or monitor?

SethH http://www.modsrigs.com/detail.aspx?BuildID=35940 Finally got around to making one of these. Enjoy Once I fix the cable management in the back I'll be adding more pictures.
Smart choice for OS. We have similar right, but my motherboard is from MSI. I said smart choice for OS because games and everything else runs much better in Windows 7, and Nvidia 1080 FTW loves Win7 plus you don't have to deal with other bugs Win10 has.

But, but DX12 doesn't love Win 7 though.

Fair enough.....i would love to have more cores tobe able to multitask more. I know i use my off hours dedicated to world community grid. Recently added a third monitor and now I find im already out of real estate when im doing work. The 4790 will be the first cpu i learn to OC with so well see how it goes. How do you like the dg case? Thinking of using that when i upgrade my server rig after christmas. My server really just runs plex and i throw in all my spare mismatch gpus to fold.

Right now, just gaming. Just installed a new 5TB drive so now I'm going to start actually recording/streaming and that will make use of the extra cores. I plan to start a YouTube channel and produce videos using like Adobe Premiere Pro. wizanhi How do you like the dg case? Thinking of using that when i upgrade my server rig after christmas. I love this case. There's plenty of room for everything but the only issue I find is that because of how many cables I actually have to use, my cable management is complete crap. CPU Cable = fine, it goes up the right side using the included holders. Mobo, 2 VGA cables, Sata cables for my 2 SSD's & 2 HDD's & fan pump controller = all bunched up on the left side of the case (if looking at the back) because of how many wires there are. I see no feasible way to manage these better tbh because the only real spot I can route them through is the space between the SSD and HDD tray above the HDD/SSD bays. I'll include a pic.

http://imgur.com/l7V2o95 The red is where my cables come from my PSU and theoretically should be routed. The red CIRCLE is the section between the SSD & HDD tray where part of my Mobo cable + 2 VGA cables + 1 Sata cable (for SSD in that tray + fan controller) route through. The BLUE CIRCLE is where things start to bunch up because of how many wires are used. I can't fit them all in the crevice where the red is. The other Sata power cable runs along the bottom from the PSU to the HDD/SSD bays. It ends up looking like crap but hey, that's what you get. The cables that go through the red/blue area = Mobo cable, 2 Sata cables (each with 3 power connectors), 2 VGA cables. 6 sets of cables in that tiny area...not happening.

How interesting.... I can see where you can't get everything through the red circle. I know I definately can't. No opitcal drive so thats 1 less sata cable i would need to route but if i'm going to have 4-8 drives....probably won't have enough space.
No issues with the cable for the 1080? Looks like it had plenty of room from you picture but some reviews have complained about difficulty in wiring it.
Does it look to have any restrictions on radiator thickness for the side mount? Looks like the top can handle just about anything but can't tell how well the side will handle any thickness.
