Well, here I am again with another set of cheap ddr3 mem that does far better than most would think. First set I did was a set of Crucial OEM 1067 DDR3 that I was able to get to 2ghz on the 790i mobo.

Well, I found another batch from Super Talent. This was some cheap $160 6gig kit which sadly is no longer carried. Cheapest Super Talent is around $240. Anyway, this stuff shows as 1600 but was sold as 2000. Well, I felt I could get a little more than 2ghz but not what I was able to end up with.

So with that, here are a few pics of what I was able to get from this sweet batch of mem.

CPU 4.84ghz: Mem 2.3ghz: Timings: 10,10,10,1t.

CPU 4.86ghz: Mem 2.31ghz: Timings: 10,10,10,1t.

CPU 5.05ghz: Mem 2.4ghz: Timings: 11,11,11,1t.

Was able to get a run in with timings at 10,11,10,1t for 2.4ghz but it was not quite stable enough for me to get a pic taken.

Well, that's it for now. Maybe you guys can chime in with your own results. Would like to see what some of the good stuff can do.

Thnx for looking in.

Do you want us to run the SiSandra or just a validation style thing? Validation style I once had my 1600mhz OCZ @ 1850Mhz on stock timings+voltage, but I never tested that.

You can run in same setup I used. Didn't think about validation run.

Too late, I went suicide run style. I'll do your method in a few minutes.. I have a couple more tricks up my sleeve.

    1800mhz stock timings and voltage

    1900mhz @ 1.75Vdimm, 10-11-10-31-1T timings

    1960 mhz @ 1.75vdimm, 10-11-10-31-1T

    1990mhz @ 1.75vdimm, 10-11-10-31-1T

    2020mhz @ 1.75vdimm, 10-11-10-31-1T

I'll have some more in a bit.

    Edit

    2050mhz 1.75vdimm, 10-11-10-31-1T

    2090mhz @ 1.75vdimm, 10-11-10-31-1T

    Still crankin.

Gotta put some stress on the stuff to know if the numbers are true. So get to it.

Would you say the same about your 5.17Ghz on Phase?

    2100mhz @ 1.775vdimm, 10-11-10-31-1T

Now I'll start on stability testing.

    Hmm..

1800mhz bench stable @ 1.75vdimm, 10-11-10-31-1T <-- probably bench stable way lower though.

    Benched 1950mhz @ 1.75vdimm, 10-11-10-31-1T

    *Drumroll*

    2000mhz bench stable @ 1.75vdimm, 10-11-10-31-1T

    Anyways...

It's for 7000MHz, they just can't fit the other two zeros in that space. So 14GHz effective with 4-4-4 timings.
