I agree with Rain. Its better then them to keep their mouth shut, then to open it and have to put their foot in it because of the unexpected happens.

Tech news is sort of like a cage of monkeys at the zoo throwing around their own fecal matter and hoping it sticks to someone or something. I can understand why EVGA is selective on when they talk publicly about unreleased products.

I have an answer for your OP, the SR-2 and the classified.... oh people where getting livid and mad when they didnt meet the expected ship date, thats why we didnt hear much on the psu, as well as other products. keeps people happy then boom evga is like here it is, ready. As for that asus board, that is a good idea that members have posted in the past it keeps whats under it protected like when installing cards with water blocks, or multiple cards so nothing gets broken off, bent, punctured. evga puts small hints etc out there now, maybe a pic here or there, or kingpin with a new toy leaving you to wonder what the hell it is. then the hype starts=)

I don't see a purpose of announcing stuff. There are companies out there, can't remember the exact one, that announce tons of nice non-reference model of video cards, but 80% of them never see the light of day.
