Can't install Windows to SSD

My BIOS picks up the SSD,
but windows installer doesn't.
 
In the console under diskpart, it shows as disk 0.
 
used the CLEAN command
made it MBR
quick formated it
alligned the partition.
 
 
But still in windows install it doesn't see the SSD

    you got it set to achi in bios?

    yes it was set to ACHI
     
    But got it to work,
    weirdest thing, can install Win 8.1 and it works,
    but Win7 doesn't see the drive

    Windows 7 may not see it depending upon the motherboard used and the MBR.

    With Win 8 on the disk, Win7 still can't pick it up

    Under diskpart
    Delete all the partitions and do not create a new one.

    What motherboard do you have?

    6012mhz on L/N2 
    5321mhz on L/N2
    5091mhz on air

    Do NOT format the drive and let Windows format it when you go to install. I had the same issue and thats all I did. Hope that works!
