I have tried 3 different credit cards, I see the charges in my bank. But EVGA keeps saying its declined due to address.

I spent hours on phone with very rude "manager" named Eddy. never been talked down to by a company rep before like this. Sad to see a company I have liked and bought from for so long have such nasty people working there.

But worse, won't honor a simple Promise. The rep literally told me to try different address combinations until they got the approval. But the bank is approving every charge. I see it in my bank and credit card system.

I have copy and pasted address form bank to make sure it matches.

This is some sort of game they are playing. Makes no sense to me.

The rep literally told me to sit at my PC and test 5-10 diff made up combinations of my address see if they work. 5225 NW 1 St. , 5225 , 5225 NW, 5225 North West, etc, etc

Is this for real?

I buy online everyday with these cards, and NEVER had an issue.

Again, until proven otherwise I will believe this is some sort of roadblock they are using to not have to do these EAR's.

Anyone had any sort of experience like this?

I am in shock!

did he tell you what the actual problem was?
what's considered as wrong in your address?

prior to making another try call your bank and get those money back, imo.

use this link to tell EVGA how Eddy did on the phone, they would be glad to have the feedback:

They have never tried to block people before, so why would they now? They do these on a regular basis without complaints, so there is a minor disconnect somewhere.

I have never had a credit card show any charge for a few days, usually about 2, as it has to process.

I would definitely contact the credit card institutions, as they may show up, but still deny the sale for some other reason.

A simple promise never works. If you own a business, that would be apparent. People lie every day in every way to get everything they have for free.

having dealt with Eddy i doubt whats been said is the actual truth (Eddy is nothing but helpful and patient ). The idea this is a plot to deny RMa's is laughable .Something either server side or credit side is holding it up.Some companies actually take a few hours to update info(changed info bank server side) that's read to outside sources. That is my guess

    Hi Everyone,

I can confirm that we are here to help, but please understand that while it is frustrating we are unable to accept a credit card that a bank will not verify the address as accurate.  Please work with your bank to confirm how they have your billing address on file as some banks will place your apartment number on line 1 and this can cause failures with our system unless you also place your apartment number on line 1 to match it.

I am glad to see that this was resolved and please keep in mind that if anyone else has a problem we are here to help as much as possible. 1-888-881-3842 option 1.
