Is it possible to step up from a 970 to a 980 within 90 days?

Hello,  baileycrocker

Yes it is possible as long as the product falls under the warranty code of a KR product you should not have a problem. Also you must register your product within the first 14 days of the initial date of purchase. If you fail to register the product you can still take part of the step up program, all you would need to do is purchase an extended warranty once purchased the option for the step up program will reactivate once again.  If you have any further questions or concerns feel free to contact our 24/7 Technical Support at +1.888.881.EVGA (3842).

once you're in the step-up it doesn't matter if you go past 90 days..unless you drop out.

"Once you are in queue, the 90 day limit no longer applies. If you cancel after your 90 day limit you will not be able to restart your Step-Up.
When your Step-Up is ready, you will receive an email with information on payment options.
