Was excited when I came home from work to see the package, to my dismay when I opened it up all I got was an empty EVGA box. Looks like someone opened it up and took it during shipping or when it arrived and I wasn't home.

go to your post office local file a compliant that was tampered with my postal boxes from evga were all sealed in the postal box no tape but the boxes inside did not have a seal on them so I would complain cuase the postal service can track were and when the package was it is the season for thieves in the postal service it been proven before

Doubt it's worth tracking down a $10 item.
While the item is not expensive, you can't get ahold of a shroud until evga releases a wave to the public. As far as I know they are currently only available to those who signed up for the faceoff program

That is the port for the tubes. There is a square cut out of the shroud where that will be installed so that there isn't a large hole in the shroud. The installation guide should have all of the information, as I have read it, (even though I have never owned a hybrid) and it gave pretty clear instructions. This will be better: http://www.evga.com/suppo...Installation_Guide.pdf the top right picture on the second page provides a picture of the rubber grommet installed. As for the washers, I would think that would be for the waterpump, as that would be the easiest place. To scratch the PCB. They would reduce the chance of scratching.

Thanks for posting the picture evilmustang66. And thanks Scarlet-Tech for the input; I think you may be correct on what the "other thing" (I probably should have been more descriptive) is.
As for the instructions, what arrived with the shroud is much simpler than the hybrid kit install guide. I suspect nothing but the shroud and screws are necessary but wanted to check with the community before opening my machine this weekend.

It's the pump and it has a humming combined with high pitched sound. Not very loud but noticeable. I don't think that RMA-ing yours will get you a better one.
