I mean try something different.....something open world, off the rails, free roaming. No more "press X to pay respects" console crap or weapons you can only use when cued and then never again. Just give me the tools of the trade to work with an objective and turn me loose. I don't need them to hold my hand all the way to the objective, have one linear path to the objective, then have to wait for my cue to engage. One word ......Sandbox

I love the game, so far it's my favorite multi-player as far as game mechanics go. While leveling you get supply drops, not supply drops in game... Like a supply drop that gives you random things. So far the supply drop has given me on occasion, double XP ranging from 25 minutes to 45 minutes. I've also received some cool guns from the supply drop, they are specialized guns that focus on other specifications, like damage, reload speed, ect... You also get different gear for your character in those supply drops, some of the helmets and stuff are pretty cool.

The lag is just really frustrating... So far the only way i've been able to fix it is by turning my graphics all the way down. It seems i'm going to need to spend some time tuning the advance graphics settings this time around. I was really hoping my R9 290X would be able to handle this without a problem... and i'm actually surprised it doesn't.

I didn't pre-order, I waited for reviews to roll in. They looked good, so I bit. There was no way in heck I would pre-order without hearing several player reviews first. The game is actually solid, if it wasn't for the P2P system.

Edit: I know Xray, it is funny though right?

Yes it was kind of funny. Wish you could have seen the look on my face when I read your post, which was worded so different than your thread was. Definately took me for aloop. The look of confusion.

I am glad you are enjoying it Armyguy. You took a nice long break from the game and came back. Now it is my turn

I played more, and i can see the faults. Basically the peer to peer is my problem with it. The game is fun and solid as a rock, but then ruins it with peer to peer. They might add back dedicated servers, it would be nice. They are listening to the criticism, apparently.

What? How would that be possible. They won't ban you for hardware monitoring software like afterburner or precision.

I enjoyed the SP, I do not enjoy the MP however. The lag is terrible and people bouncing all over the place is kinda silly.

Yeah, Activision needs to leave PC gaming if they are going to just keep trying to rip people off. What works on the console DOES NOT work on PC. BF is even better than this crap game... Titanfall is even better... All simply because they both have dedicated servers.

If anyone is having stuttering issues with SLI and multiplayer, try sli flag 0x084000F5 (Tomb Raider 2013), Nvidia predifined SLI mode on DirectX10 : SLI_PREDEFINED_MODE_DX10_FORCE_AFR and Nvidia predefined number of GPU's to use on SLI rendering mode on DX10 : SLI_PREDEFINED_GPU_COUNT_DX10_FOUR.

Since I am using driver 344.48 which doesn't have the SLI profile I had to create one using NVIDIA inspector. However, those who are using 344.60 or the newly released 344.65 (both of which have the completely borked sli profile), you can edit the Sli profile using Inspector as well. With these, I can finally play both Sp and Mp with some occasional (rare) stuttering. Also in Mp, setting shadow map resolution from extra to high or normal helps a LOT.

Hope this helps.

I was banned from MW2 for using an MSI Afterburner Extreme version. (subzero cooling version basically, unlocked voltages, etc.). I played for like 8 months using normal AB and the first time I fired up MW2 with a modified version it detected it.

So it is possible. Though I suspect it's because I was using a modified (unlocked) version of Afterburner rather than a normal one.

Messed around with the graphic settings and it's a lot better now. I still get a bad match every once in a while, but it's nowhere near as bad as it was before. I'm getting close to second prestige. I'm still enjoying this game.

Played 5 games today.First server had aimbotter--->quit...next 2 games where fine.hitreg was a lot better and actually had time to shoot.
Back to lobby(friend joined)--->in to teh server!....aimbotter again(differend)--->quit.
Next server we joined had 100% sure WH...whats going on?

I did see 2 aimbotters in weekend, but now there seems to be 2 in every 10 games.

I have not had that issue... I know certain lobbys are never full, it's pretty hard to find hardcore games. I mainly play Domination and a little bit of Hardpoint and Search and Destroy. I'd love to play Search and Rescue, but no one ever plays... I've sat in a lobby waiting for one to form for about an hour and got nothing. Was just watching some Netflix while I waited lol

Just got to Prestiege 2 today. I'm loving the bulldog, got an elite version of it and i've been destroying with it.

OK , so last night after a few more tries - MP finally connected in .

I played like 4 matches - leveled up 2x per each match ( ridiculously too easy )
           -BUT -
Man ! I thought DICE has bad netcode - this is terrible !  so jumpy, glitchy ,laggy .....Several people were talking to each other & that was the best way to prove how bad the netcode is - Everything they were saying had a 2-3 sec delay and echo plus the words would also cut out for 2 secs , go quiet the start back in the middle of their sentence.

I'll keep playing for awhile -seeing if anything changes up until BF4 last map pack comes out.
Other wise, my mini review rating gives COD AW MP a thumbs midway.  1/2 up  1/2 down

It definitely has some good elements to it  but  suffers from console-itis portis- badicus

Yeah, leveling is a little quicker than most of the COD's I've played, but the grind to prestige 15 isn't short by any means. You also slow down a ton once you get into around level 25. Not really sure whats happening for you. I have been cranking out the points today. Had a little lag on one game, when that happens... I leave the match at the end and find another host.

I do have one problem though, the map Defender locks up for the first 30 seconds or so... Then it studders really bad for about another 30-40 seconds. After that, it is playable again. They REALLY need to do something about that.

The netcode is horrid.  It makes BF4 feel and look like perfection.  I would of never expected to be making that commend in my life.

Is anyone else having framerate issues with CoDAW?

I just got my 970 FTW and I thought it would be more than enough to play everything on maxed, but it seems I have to turn down the Supersamplying down from 16X (max) to 8X-4X to be playable.

Thanks.

Wait, what? You have to turn supersampling down from max...? I hope that does not come as a surprise to you...

Why is IGN always at the top of the reviews for these games? I guess Activision lines their pockets with good review money and, of course, nothing changed with this new title.

No, I had the supersampling at max (16X) but was getting very low FPS, so I had to turn it down to around 4X-8X to be playable.

And you were surprised by this? Supersampling requires a lot of VRAM to set that high.
