Ok, it worked for about 15 minutes then went totaly black. Tried CPU's in different orders, tried one CPU, 2 CPU's, and 3'cpu's at a time. Tried resetting the ram, tried with one ram dimm per bank, tried outside the cars, tried different power supplies, and its a no post. I guess I am going to have to RMA the board

Well that stinks. Sorry for the bad luck. With the drive issue, it probably was just a bad board to begin with. Oh well, hopefully we can fend off MST and PST without it...

Ouch...sorry to hear  Nothing puts a damper on a new build like bad equipment. Contest or not it sucks all around. I hope they get you taken care of soon so you can get that beast up and demolishing wu's.

man sorry to hear that about teh nuker ... kinda funny though when you think about it when i said to RMA it since it wasnt detecting hard drives to begin with though ... you'll be back up and running again ... now how about that fleet of sany's you were boasting about earlier in a different thread :P

I have everything in the house folding except for the Commodore 64.
It does make one wonder how much time has been spent gaming with the recent release of the new games.

It seems that luck isn't on our side. Between mine and everyone elses folding rigs crashing, it has let the other teams to gain the leed. But I will dang if I'm giving up early, I'm fighting with anything and everything that I got left till the end. I have a P4 rig with just the bare minimal to support the GTX560 Ti for folding, sitting on my desk. My PS3, QX6700, 9800GT, GT420, GTX560 Ti, and SB i7 2600 have been folding non-stop since the start. I have a second GTX 560 Ti that I start up before I leave for work and shut off before I go to bed (I can't sleep with its high-pitched tone). I had a 8300GTS folding for a while till it died, and a 8800GT that died while folding the very first of the GPU2 projects long ago. The only PC parts left that isn't folding is a i7 930 CPU (needs mobo) and GTX470 (needs mobo and PSU to support it).

EST should have won it based on estimated PPD
it was way over everyone else
the fact that PST and Mountain didn't have a chance until we
got another folder didn't stop us from having fun
Nor did we stop looking for new people to bring in
anything can happen (power failures - like the freak winter storm)
Keep in the game...you never know what you might wrangle

About half the time when I check the site the page loads with no data. Just the headers.
I just check back a couple of minutes later and it will work fine. I assumed that the site was just busy.

Due to budgetary (and other) constraints, I will be taking down my GTX560Ti when I get home from work today. I'll keep my bigadv rig up and running for the contest, but it will only drop points every 2.25 to 2.5 days (next drop is slated for 11/2 just after midnight).
Looks like the contest will be over on Saturday based on EST projected numbers.

EVGA has prepared a tracking # for my RMA'd motherboard, so that means I should be getting it back sometime this week hopefully. And I have been doing pretty good staying in this contest. I have been hovering around position 75 against all contestants, and 25 on CST team. And I might break 2 million points for EVGA by the end of this contest.

Now I keep getting the 6099 WU,instead of the 6900's.  Were all doing what we can I think. I'm disappointed were stuck in last,but it looks like that won't change. I have folded a buttload more than I normally would though. It's nothing compared to a lot of you guys though.
