Wow, I thought I was optimistic when I said we might sniff at a third place. Well, this is how it goes when the worlds finest crunchers stick together. With 1day 14hrs left, this is how it looks. A little different numbers, this is how many participants the top ten teams have: So, it comes pretty clear, some teams has way more crunchers represented I this challenge. Then, our guy's collected: 18 members, out of 179 users in total. I should think the company EVGA, should be pretty satisfied with this and us. This is just outstanding guy's Edit, I hope your rig was ok after the BSOD bcavnaugh and lol for the Numbers link

Orange_1050 is definitely doing some heavy lifting. It is funny to look back at his earlier prediction of getting a sniff at third place. The participating crunchers from EVGA have done an impressive job!

I'm not surprised at our performance by all that much. I've noticed before that GPU projects are what we do best. There is a large number of 2P and 4P systems around that have been re-purposed to crunching from folding after the FAH big advantage train wreck. Other teams seem to have more members with those systems than we do. So we generally lag a little behind in the CPU contests. But we can rally the troops when needed for CPU as we just demonstrated with the POGS challenge.

Well even after a hard days Crunching on GPUGRID it looks like I will not be able to take over Eagle07. Eagle07 is running 27 NVIDIA Tesla K10.G1.8GB GPUs against my 14 Desktop GPUs. Eagle07 really has some Nice Hardware, but I did give it my best shot. I do like short run Challenges over the long run challenges.

The Tesla's are impressive hardware for sure. Also, Eagle07 put far more efforts into this race than the last one: CRUNCHATHLON GPUGRID [MONTHLY RUN - RACE II]BOINC.Italy was absent this challenge, too bad. They had a good grip on the last Challenge, and ended up with 5 participants in top 10. We'll see if we can lurk them out next time. And yes, I also like those short challenges. Great job devlin85 I also look trough those stats from time to time, always pleased to see familiar names

I'd have to say he doesn't have all of those listed in every machine, his numbers would be much more insane. It says I have [2] 780 in mine, but it's actually a 780 and a 610 (I use this computer, so a discount bin card for basic use). It looks like it only displays the best card in the system and how many total cards in that system. But damn that's an impressive number of cards none the less!

We are doing a great job with this contest. I have two long runs that just started a couple of hours ago and they will finish up in about 7 to 8 hours. I will then jump over to short runs until for the last few hours. Hopefully I can get a few done and validated to add to our teams points. At the time I am writing this post the contest will end in around 12 hours. However I would like to keep the effort going for a while longer if every one is agreeable to the idea. We are just 222 million points away from regaining the number one spot for GPU Grid over on Formula Boinc from the UK BOINC Team who passed us up a few months ago. We are pulling in around 25 million points a day at this point. So if we keep going for another week that will give us enough points to pass them up and retake the number 1 spot. Plus a little extra to make them work a bit to take it away from us again. The current years race for Formula Boinc will end at the end of the month. We are currently ranked 14th for League 2. If we retake the GPU Grid number 1 spot that will move us up two spots.

Well Well Well.... But yodap already said that Wrapping it up with 91mil points. Winners of Both GPUGRID Crunchathlon I and II, finished at respectively 51 and 57 mil points. I think this challenge has served as a GPU benchmark for team EVGA, shows us what we are capable of. And what exactly did it show? That we, when standing together like we just did, might possibly be the toughest GPU crunching team there is. I bow before you teammates
