Hi

I have a trial of AIDA 64 for testing and want to see what else others are using to verify stable OC
I had always used Prime 95 in the past but have read that it may cause too much over volt on the newer CPUs
So far this chip clocks very well on modest voltage and I want to make very sure it is stable

Is keeping the strap at 100 the best bet ?
What about cache overclock is there any real benefit?

100 would probably be the most stable if you can keep it there while running your ram at 3000MHz. I have a slight overclock on my cache which doesn't seem to make much of a difference.

Intel burn in test? I heard it is pretty nice although it is old too.

Aida 64, Cinebench R15, XTU and a good dose of cpu intensive gaming.

Yeah. The Civilization series eats CPU-s for breakfast. And there is Ashes of Singularity too.

I have run Aida 64 and Real Bench and dialing the voltage down just a bit while bumping the clock to find the sweet spot
The 5930k and 950 pro make a snappy combo.

All of my games are still on the SSD from my old rig so I will probably use the days around
Thanksgiving to get my old data moved around.

Is Real Bench working for anyone on the lastest Windows 10 build?  It's not working for me.

Ok, cool.. Thank you.  It wasn't working at first about 2-3 weeks ago.  Said some file was missing so I assumed the latest build broke it.. seemed odd, but thanks to your reply we got it working again,

    Cheers
