If I remember someone here has a CNC machine. If you want to make a few bucks I am desperate, got a flat lobed camshaft from my dirtbike and replacement cams don't exist. If anyone can help please let me know.

Thanks

if its making simple stuff, i can handle it, but a cam would require a 4 axis machine at the least.  while its in my capacity to make a 4 axis machine, i lack the programming skills to use it.

I run a cnc shop as well but, Having a camshaft made with no cad file or even a paper drawing is a pretty tall order. If you can get either of those I might be able to help you.

If you can't locate a cad drawing or a paper drawing with all the required dimensions your only other option would be to take it to someone with a coordinate measuring machine (CMM) which is basically a 3d scanner and I don't know if that would do much good seeing as the part you are scanning is already bad. Someone could possibly alter the scanned results to make a working part but that is beyond my skill level as well.

I am sure you and I could talk at length for hours.  What CAM software do you use?
