All I'm going to post is this. Do your research yourself I'm just tossing it out here as news is posted by other members all the time. Only reason I know about this is because I went to check my email on yahoo and saw it on the news feed. http://www.naturalnews.co...iminal_corruption.htmlAlso, I know it started a major fight last time this was discussed, this is America. We are all allowed to believe what we want and have our own opinions, false or otherwise. I really don't want to argue or fight with any of you guys. I like most of you and don't feel like ruining any ties over this.

It all makes sense now..... Natural News? really??? really???? anti-science, anti-logic, anti-common sense ......complete garbage. HA! Just did a quick web search and look what I found. I am no expert on this topic, but I do believe that the CDC is corrupt, has an agenda, and lies about many things. Any group who controls a huge industry is likely infiltrated and bought-off over time.

why hand anything over to Congress? They're far too stupid to understand it, most of them can't even figure out how to open a door and need an assistant to do it.

Interesting as Yahoo news also picked it up with a bunch of other minor news stations...? Anyway, I was just posting it because the proof is out there now. I got a lot of angry PM's when we had that huge argument about it in another thread, and I'm not really going to argue about it now. Believe it, don't believe it, it's your choice. As I said in the OP, this is a free country, we can all believe what we like.

If Congress wants the info they will need to issue a subpoena. That's simple enough.

RJ, Do you listen to the news that happens here? There are several congressional subpoenas that have been issued against this administration, the IRS and the DOJ with no results. It took a private company with the will to take it to a Federal judge via a lawsuit to finally get some action going and it appears that this judge (not congress) is going to get some answers/results.

FDA is far worse. Watching startups get denied by FDA then big pharma launches the same product shortly after.. I've seen it more than once. The crap that we eat which is FDA-approved yet most other countries class it below recommended human consumption.. the medicines the FDA approved with side effects worse than what they are treating. FDA rarely approve cures. They are in the pockets of big pharma, and big pharma only want treatments, definitely not cures, for obvious reasons. The hundreds of millions of dollars big pharma spends on lobbying says it all. Money talks.

Yes, read the story of how aspartame got approved and try saying the FDA isn't a corrupt body with a straight face.

Aspartame is contained in almost all diet sodas, among other things.

Not just that. The FDA's own toxicologist, Dr. Adrian Gross told Congress that without a shadow of a doubt, aspartame can cause brain tumors and brain cancer and that it violated the Delaney Amendment, which forbids putting anything in food that is known to cause cancer. According to the top doctors and researchers on this issue, aspartame causes headache, memory loss, seizures, vision loss, coma and cancer. It worsens or mimics the symptoms of such diseases and conditions as fibromyalgia, MS, lupus, ADD, diabetes, Alzheimer's, chronic fatigue and depression. Further dangers highlighted is that aspartame liberates free methyl alcohol. The resulting chronic methanol poisoning affects the dopamine system of the brain causing addiction. Methanol, or wood alcohol, constitutes one third of the aspartame molecule and is classified as a severe metabolic poison and narcotic. How's that Diet Coke treating you now? When diet sodas and soft drinks, sweetened with aspartame, are used to replace fluid loss during exercise and physical exertion in hot climates, the intake of methanol can exceed 250 mg/day or 32 times the Environmental Protection Agency's recommended limit of consumption for this cumulative poison. It's in nutrasweet, splenda etc. Above quoted/paraphrased from a summary article on Huffington Post (among other places). People responsible for this should be given the death penalty.

Non diet soda isn't any better with brominated vegetable oil and caramel coloring that have the same side effects as aspartame.

Yea I used to drink 12-16 cans a day. I can't eat spicy food anymore despite my loving of it. Makes me sick and in extreme cases, throwing up. Doc says I destroyed the inner lining of my stomach. Meh.
