wow what a build. I like the gpu support, can it support multi gpu's. when you can go with an ssd or two it should be a lot more survivable than the hdd

iancook221188, for SLI, I had thought of making a second set of supports, but then I figured out that all I need to do is place a small block of rubber between the cards and put a finger on top of one, and one on the bottom of the other. What I would like to test is how well the case can cool itself with a GTX 690 : ) Ringmaster, esCob4r, iancook221188, and Gold Leader thank you for the kind words.

GRRR. 3D Mark 11 will not run on my system now for some reason reason. I have tried disabling anti-virus as well as doing the HD sound fix. Everything else seems to run on this system. I tried deleting the futuremark folder...

I got it going. I had to update one of 3D Mark 11's depends. It was a system checking program. I have no idea why they do not update the main installer. Sigh. I did the tests with a 4.2ghz automatic overclock (Genie). I set the video card power management to performance, but I will probably not overclock the card. With the overclock, I do notice more heat coming from the power supply, but I don't feel the case fan exhaust is appreciably warmer. I will set the CPU back to stock after I am done.

that 2600K should do 4.5ghz on air without headaches if the cooler dissipates the heat fast enough. also the evga 570 AR cards are one of best overclockers out there, mine can do 950/1900/2100 clocks at 1.1v voltage on gpu (via Precision X). however since my other card is an out of warranty refurb 570 (RX) and since I am running them in SLI, for daily use I settled at daily clocks of classy speeds 822/1644/1951 with lowest stable gpu voltage possible for firm stability. take it slowly step by step and find the roof for cpu and gpu overclocking (based on voltage requirements and resultant temps) and then back it off a little for safer daily clocks at decent temps and bearable volts.

I don't understand the contest rules. I don't know if a winner is chosen at random after they complete 200 posts, or if it chosen at random every 200 posts. A GTX 690 would sure be swell.

I had same problem with those rules hehe "posts" mentioned in MR sponsorship rules refer to "new rigs posted in MR" apparently ... and so every 200 new rigs gets posted, the random drawing takes place and 1 person is selected for sponsorship.
