Hello all!

I received my 1080 SC from B&H on Thursday. Everything ended up going very well! I preordered on June 3rd and their June 16th date was missed by only a couple of days. I ended up fully rebuilding my PC. When I ordered my 1080, I was just going to upgrade my 970 and call it a day. I was running a 3770k with 16GB of RAM and a Gigabyte motherboard. However, I visited my local microcenter last weekend and they had 6700ks for $289 and the standard $30 off a compatible motherboard. This bundle brought the cost of my ASUS z170-Pro down to $150! Microcenter also had EVGA DDR4 so I picked up 16GB of that as well. I've never seen EVGA memory before so I thought I tried it, and of course they fired up beautifully and XMP stable at the rated 3000mhz(even with my overclock!).  I thought that was a steal and I could(and did) recuperate most of the cost by selling my 3770k+motherboard+ram combo.

I overclocked my new CPU to 4.7Ghz and have it stable at 1.35 volts. Not a lottery winner but definitely not a loser either. Without further adue here are some pics!

Looks awesome! Don't take this personal and its killing me. You spend all that money. And have that all hooked up to a $10-$15 dollar surge protector?!?!? Get a nice quality UPS ASAP! I am not shocked by this either at all. I have seen so many like this. Spend good amount of money on pc hardware. But, wont buy a quality UPS for those expensive components. Its really bizarre peoples thinking some times.

I just got to 9 posts so yeah my link didn't work.

The AIO cooler is the Corsair H105. I'm not sure if it's discontinued now but it is a few years old. I think I got it in 2014? Anyway it's a slightly thicker version of the H100. It does a good job, no point in replacing it just yet.

Looks nice! I am stepping up to 2 SC and noticed they have the white LED. What color exhaust fan are you using in the rear, In the pic it makes everything look blue. Is that how it actually looks?

Nice build. I think my Asus Strix 1080 OC is prettier though.

Everything is white led fans. Corsair's af140 for normal fans and sp120s for the AIO. I think they look blue due to my crappy cellphone camera.
