So, all the part of my upgrade are on the way

Three 480HC are in the hand of UPS
The power supply are leaving Germany tonight

Some electronics parts arrive Friday.

One bad news is arrived today from the factory, some pannel are using steel threads ... steel will be disolved by the anodic bath...

Only 100% aluminum parts will be treated,

parts can not be treated I will be back and I would find another solution

simply for one question of performance.

Raid 50 = 6 HDD min. 7= Raid 50 + Hot spare

2.3To of capacity 1.2Gb/s read 850Mo/s write

Very nice and very clean build, at least for as long as you can leave it in one piece

Re:Lian-Li PC-A7110B 2010/08/02 14:41:16 (permalink)
Hi....
Well....

I had to make some changes because there have sometimes bad idea...

My bad idea is putting the SSD on the two first 5.25" bay

why ? just a problem of space... when the radiators are in place.... I dont have place for the SSD

the solution is... find a new place for the ssd but first is find a fixation system...  more info about this topic when the pieces are here

In another topic I have just finished building a computer for one friend, (twelve hundred, 3x 480SC, 3 SSD, I7 980X etc.) and these 480 are very very hot ~90° in full load...

So I have looked what is the most easy way for expand my cooling capacity...

I have two 360 in place and this 360 are stackable... It is a non sens using a 360 just for a overclocked I7...

So my little solution is... adding a single 120mm radiator and modifing the CPU loop

so the GPU loops use the two 360 in // and the cpu the second loop only for him with the new 120mm.

I'm still working on the cable managment ( this is a very long work)...

So I have not yet finish with this project...

Thank you for supporting this project.

Really nice man. I want to see more. Are you planning on Oc'ing much?  So let me get this right.....2*360's for the 480's and a single 120 for the cpu?

normal OC on this CPU is 4.1Ghz but max usable OC is 4.8ghz

and yes one loop for the Three 480 using two 360's and the cpu loop with a dedicated 120

Really nice build, quality of parts, details of build, and looks are top notch. I'm in love with the finish of your case. How much did it cost you to do the ceramic finish and where would you get it done (if you didn't do it yourself)?

Again, nice Job and keep the pics coming :)
