Hey all ,
As many of you know I have had a pair of EVGA GeForce GTX 295 Red Editions, but in the end I kinda had major regrets from selling them well about 2 weeks ago I found a matched pair of them on ebay, only it was a USA only sale, but after convincing the seller that I was really up for it, it all came out perfectly!

Anyhoo, here is what the kind TNT Postman delivered me this Saturday morning

I also managed to make this cool picture the EVGA Logo's reflect in my wooden table xD whata  Flasher can do  right

Top card is the New from RMA the bottom is the used one Both run great!

As red as they can be right! Yeah I'm in luv with em EVGA comrades, always have been

The EVGA GTX 295 RE's in SLI mode , the Art of Quad SLI in Ferarri Red is Back peeps!

Here the Side Exhausts of the GTX 295 RE's Lots of hot air come out of them side exhausts, interesting design a lot like 9800 GX2 was, to which was probably used to design this heh

And here is how the look like in my system! Even Darth Malgus Approves

The two mighty reds taken from the side

The EVGA GeForce GTX 295 Red Editions in Blue Leader SMP 2009 & the EVGA GeForce GTX 480 in Firefox SMP 2006 Both stand out very nice

Here a closeup of the GTX 295 RE's without the Side panel:

But yeah there you have it EVGA people, after so many years searching I found these ultra rare gems and Quad SLI runs very well, so far I have not stumbled upon any issues, I am using Forceware 286.65 WHQL, kinda reminds me of 197.45 WHQL so far :)

Yeah thanks , they are indeed powerful to run all the games out there even if I use DX9 or even 10 or OpenGL2.1 or 3.3 they just do it again and again :D

Still a total of 960 CUDA Cores like two GTX 480's can give hehe, only divided over 4 GPGPU's each with 240 CUDA Cores, what they also have is GPGPU Precision Point, a CUDA based feature which the GTX 480's also have in common

I will run BarsWF x64 on these and see how their CUDA Performance can be compared with the EVGA GTX 480 I also have here.

Some of my mates always wanted to know this difference, as some say that the GTX 480 has a more powerful CUDA unit than the Tesla others say the other way around or some say both perform in similar ways well Ia m going to unfold this mystery.

Also many thanks to the EVGA Crew Member that gave me my 15th Blue Ribbon!

If BF3 has DX9 and 10 Support I don't see a problem then :) But you won't see me playing a slow paced game like BF3, I play Descent man, Descent 1, 2 or 3 when it comes to serious gaming.

6DoF games that allow Tri  & Quad Chording something FPS gamers can only dream of doing. a FPS is a 3 or 4 DoF all depending on the movement limitations they bare.

As for the rest I am mainly  single player type Just Cause 2 for example lots of fun.

As for the Quantas Nalanji Dreaming B743 [Boeing 747-338] I got that from here:
    http://www.aviationmegast...ent_id=0&art=71657

That is the largest Hobby Aviationstore in the European Union
They have many more types of aircraft also, them B743's you seek are currently out of stock, but just let the website notify you once they arrive again

It's a handy way to keep up to date on new arrivals of items you are seeking.

As for your rig it's sweet man, I really love all the builds I seen here at EVGA forums and thanks to so many builds they also helped me to cable management properly, that is something I learned from this place and I am still very thankful to that

Well that is why I collected them @ Scale 1:18 rofl!  But yer Ferarri's look cool like EVGA GTX 295 Red Editions do

Although I have to admit for all you other DX10/11 Quad SLI users out there, even if you are running 9800 GX2's, GTX 295's, GTX 590's and such the latest WHQL drivers have done me a lot of good which is 285.62 WHQL, the OS I am running is Windows 7 Professional x64 UK + SP1

As for micro stuttering? Really I have never seen it take place, kinda funny how some can moan about this, but so far it never happened with my GTX 295 Red Editions, as I run everything @ 1920 x 1200 x32.

That might be because I am using just one monitor, since I never saw the usefulness by using more than one high quality S-IPS screen, the idea of bezels, bad overlay and lagg on the  outer screens never interested me to be very honest. And then the room you'd need, nah I prefer more PC's then xD

But hey my advice is to use 285.62 WHQL it's probably the best driver for Quad SLI since 197.45 WHQL

Re:Blue-Leader SMP 2009 Reunited wtih Quad SLI EVGA GTX 295 Red Editions! 2012/01/29 11:43:10 (permalink)
    Hey everyone

Today I ran BarsWF x64 andI wanted to find out how four GT200b's would do in that MD5 Hasher with their 960 CUDA cores in total, in practics 4x 240 CUDA Cores

When you are going to run BarsWF x64, do keep in mind that you must Disable SLI to run the application and if you want it to stop press Enter / Return and it will automatically end the test run :)

You can grab it from here btw:
    http://3.14.by/en/md5

So this is what Two EVGA GTX 295 Red Editions do as relative CUDA Performance goes with MD5 Hashing:

1x EVGA GTX 480 + 1x EVGA GTX 580 Super Clocked Edition does this:

2x EVGA GTX 580 Super Clocked Edition Does this:

So yeah 2x GTX 295 does about 2800 MD5 Hashes per sec as where 2x GTX 480 would do about 3000 MD5 Hashes per sec, even though they would do about 2x 100 MD5 Hashes per sec more than two GTX 295's,  the GT200b's on the GTX 295's like the 295 RE's only run @ 576Mhz aswere the GF100's on the GTX 480's run 701Mhz each, so I am speculating that if the GT200b's like the GF100's would both run 576Mhz.

This would prove that the GT200b's would win hands down, this also means that GeForce Tesla 200 a/b is more powerful per CUDA core & per Mhz than GeForce Fermi 100/110 CUDA Cores are

    very nice +1

    Thanks mate!

That's a really nice setup. The 295 RE are by far the most beautiful ones ever made, and good clockers too (had mine @670/1458/1215 for 24/7 @ 1038mv). As I could not get another one, had to sell it. Congrats.

Sweeeeeeet man also a very neat OC too!  But due to that I am a Die hard Collector, you will me never see me do that to my GTX 295 RE's hehe, that would only be disastrous and make them irreplaceable

As my collection goes, you can see it here:
    http://www.3dfx.ch/galler...er/?g2_navId=xb0b685b1
In there you can also see that I have collected many more in the past, also my previous collection show I started once by collecting 3dfx VGA cards, where many were Engineering Samples

Some thumbnails are broken, that was due to that the place had a server crash last year, which damaged the thumbnail function, luckily all the photo's were saved instead of lost

My First pair which can be seen in this thread:
    http://forums.evga.com/fb.ashx?m=143879

Which was back in 2009, I was able to OC them to GTX 275 Speeds with their stock coolers ran Furrmark for 4 hours flat, not even a single glitch nor crash, even they hit 104C max, they kept on going, after this 4 hour test I put them back to their stock speeds.

About after a year in use I sold them, needed money and all, but about 4 months after I sold them I discovered that selling them was not much of a bright idea

Their rarity factor is very high compared to that of a regular VGA card, they even out rare them MARS & ARES VGA cards, they are nothing compared to the rarity factor of the EVGA GeForce GTX 295 Red Edition

So far I have found 6 other people that have these cards also:

SENJU from Tokyo Japan has 2 in his RED SUN PC
Wolf Team Leader has 4 for his Foldfarm from Perth , Western Australia
Fathey 007 from USA has 1
ALi from ALisPCVideo's Germany has 1
Rich from RniceSpecV USA has 1
Jkon 1977 from USA has 1
Gold Leader / Obi-Wan Kenobi / Tylosaurus [Me] from The Netherlands has 2

Number of EVGA GeForce GTX 295 Red Edition Owners & Cards World Wide:
    Australia: 4
    USA: 3
    Japan: 2
    The Netherlands: 2
    Germany: 1

    Total Amount od Owners: 7
    Total Amount of Cards: 12

There might be more, but so far I have not found any other owners of these ultra rares.

As you can see, one of them is WOLF_TEAM_LEADER from Perth, Western Australia has 4 now
He is a good friend of mine which bought my first pair, he uses them for Folding @ Home, something I'd never do with these rarities after finding out how rare they really are, that way you'd only lessen their lifespan, by using them @ 100% load 24/7.

I had many regrets selling my first pair so the only thing I could do is search a second pair 100% complete with box & accesorries also, as a collector if you really want to collect something you can do it, just the matter of will power and someday you will find and achieve your goals.

Like I did with this second pair, about 3 years after I sold my first pair

They have the USA Boxes, which are far nicer than the EUR boxes, their Chrome EVGA & GTX 295 logo's really make them boxes stand out, they never did that to the EUR versions.

The European Boxes look like this:

The American Boxes look like this:

    Seek the differences
As a collector I also seek such differences and yes to find a pair of EVGA GTX 295 Red Editions with the European boxes, heh I'd be in for that any day
