I have had my computer for 4 years now, and a couple of days ago I started getting blue screens whenever I play any game, league of legends, battle field, etc. I have updated my drivers and the problem is still happening. My Anti-Virus doesn't detect anything either.

My specs are:
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7 CPU 960 @ 3.20GHz
Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce FTX 580
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit
Installed Memory (RAM): 12.0 GB (7.99 GB usable)

And this is what my blue screen reader is showing me:

I'm a noob when it comes to this stuff so any help will be appreciated.

    Moving to Gen. Hardware.

Thanks for some of your system specs, but it would also help to know what motherboard, power supply, and memory you own.

The crashes do seem driver related.  How did you update your drivers?  Did you download the drivers from EVGA or GeForce.com, or did you update them through the GeForce Experience?  Did you try installing with the Custom Installation and the Perform a Clean Install option checked?

With X58 chipsets, it's not uncommon to see memory as showing less usable than memory actually installed (e.g. yours shows 12GB installed, 7.99 usable).  That can sometimes be a sign that you may have a bad stick of memory, or that the memory is not properly set to the memory manufacturer specs.  Faulty memory or incorrect settings can certainly be the cause of your system's crashes.  For EVGA boards, here are some of the things to check:  http://www.evga.com/support/faq/?f=58783

Make sure no items are overclocked.

For the usable ram issue refer to this EVGA post: http://forums.evga.com/FindPost/479626

    BSOD 116 indicates faulty GPU/PSU.

Additionally to what Sajin is letting you know about, take a look at the amount of minidumps you have on your system and the frequency of their occurring. You have plenty of BSOD 116 errors but you are also frequently getting BSOD 0f4 errors which indicate a software issue elsewhere, not just the GPU itself. Along with that you are frequently getting BSOD errors every few days or so. Notice the amount of them listed on your screenshot. Take a look at your hardware, specifically the hard drive using HTTune and see about the health of the drive. It may indicate an additional problem you are having with the system along with a possible GPU/PSU issue.

Or Driver or Low vCore or Overclocking the CPU to high and the GPU to high.
Most of the time I can correct this by upping my vCore .10 and or reducing my CPU by .1 like from 43 down to 42.

Can you run "dxdiag" in either the Run box or in the Search box in Win7?  If it is referencing DirectX (dxgkrnl), you may want to make sure DirectX is not corrupted.

    Sorry for the late reply.

Mother Board: Phoenix - AwardBIOS v6.00PG
Power Supply: Antec, Model TPQ-1200, 1200 watt Output
    Memory: I'm pretty sure it's a X58, but i saw a bunch of different X58 so i couldn't figure out which one i have.

I also tried a fresh install with GeForce experience but that didn't fix the problem.

And i ran dxdiag and it tells me there are no problems.

Is there a way to check if i have faulty GPU/PSU? And say it is the GPU/PSU, how would i fix that?

There are several things you can do to test for a faulty GPU/PSU...

#1 Downclock GPU using EVGA Precision X.

Set both GPU Clock Offset & Mem Clock Offset -105 from default clocks using the latest version of precision x. If you can't set both -105 from default clocks using the latest version of precision x download the older version here and try again. If you still can't downclock both the GPU & Memory install driver 332.21 and try again. If downclocking the GPU helped resolve the crashing/error you will need to RMA your card as it's defective.

NOTE: Make sure to uninstall the latest version of precision x before installing the older version, you must select "NO" to saving profiles & reboot the PC before installing the older version, you will need to follow these steps again when re-installing the latest version.

#2 To rule out any power issues make sure that all power connectors are secure and re-seat the card to insure proper connection. Go into your BIOS and monitor the +12v reading which should hold a constant voltage between 11.4-12.6. Any irregular or fluctuations of anything greater than .05 on the +12v may be a sign of PSU failure. If defective a new PSU would need to be ordered or a RMA would need to be started if still within warranty.

    Report back with your results.

REMOVE GeForce Experience and NEVER reinstall it.  It causes more trouble than it is worth.  You need to manually reinstall your driver and see if that fixes your problem.  First uninstall EVGA Precision and say NO when prompted to save profiles.

Then perform a "CLEAN" install of the driver and only choose the driver and PhysX. Make sure that you reboot. Once you get it up and running you can reinstall Precision X.

You may want to write down any of your settings for it before you uninstall it. (Precision X)
