Hello !

I cant stop to read "black screen, black screen" everywhere this 1000 series EVGA is a big big mess seriously...

For me my black screen experience is that:

I play, I play, black screen for 1/2 second and nothing more, I can continue to play, no need to reboot just a very quick black screen and that's it...

Driver issue ?

Thanks

That could be a driver crash.  Does your windows event log have messages saying the NVidia driver "stopped responding and has recovered"?  If so, I recommend fully uninstalling the driver (maybe use DDU in safe mode) and then re-installing.

    Hello,

    What display are you using?

Does this happen in all games?

Have you tested a separate cable? How long are the cables tested?

    Two differents games.
    It's on a television Philips 47PFL7606
No other cable to test :( 5m HDMI. ;)

If it was an issue like that I would have that a lot of times no ?
Only have that 2 times for a lot of gaming hours...

    Maybe drivers issue ?

Yes, No pads, no vbios, I'm a crazy guy because it seems I'm gonna be the only on this forum...

I dont know what to think, all works so perfectly at the moment but in the same time if I listen to some people, I just have to play and have fun, if I listen others people, my card will burn soon...

    Very tricky situation :(

    My suggestions would be to...

#1 Try a different display cable.
#2 Inside the nvidia control panel under manage 3d settings, global settings, change power management mode from optimal to adaptive. Reboot PC.
#3 Retest for the black screen.
