I sure can take some pics tomorrow night. Sorry I had some dental procedures done today and I feel like garbage. Early to bed for me tonight.
Tomorrow when I get off of work, I'll post some pics.
This tv does not have any display ports, so in order to run 4k at 60 hz, you must use the Hdmi 2.0 port

Sam's has the Vizio M49 4k for $498 right now. I bought it last month for $698 and they gave me back the $200 price difference when I went into the store to ask about it.

pnoy22 i dont know if this also have hdmi 2.0 but its about same price as the 43" http://www.vizio.com/tvs/mseries/m49c1.html
HDMI Port 5 Spec UHD Video @60Hz, HDCP 2.2 support Looks like only port 5 is HDMI 2.0. One is enough I guess though.

I'm giving serious thought to getting one of these. People who are suggesting going larger then the 43" need to realize of all the Vizio M-series options the smallest screen is the best pixel density per inch. You put a 60" on your desk and it's going to be way overpowering as far as size. Looking at the 43" I'd hate to have anything larger on my desk. What made this a viable option for me is that there are the new DP-to-HDMI 2.0 adapters out now. That means I can use the display with my AMD cards now. Family is going in half and I pay for half for my Christmas present this year. That bezel size is just sexy and it's a non-gloss finish screen which is a lot easier on the eyes for computer use. Glossy screens make my eyes want to bleed. Looks like only one port for 60hz, but I'm only hooking it up to my computer, so should be ok. Sam's Club currently has it just under $500 and in stock for me locally. this wasn't something I seriously humored until I looked at the screen first hand at Sam's Club earlier today. What sold me on it was looking it over in person. The only down side I see is the claim of it being 4:2:2, but non-gloss screen and small bezel is more important to me than the color depth. It's replacing a 2008 24" Samsung TN screen which is just old and showing it's age now.

Picked up the TV earlier today. Been putting it through it's paces. Initial thoughts, using DisplayFusion to split the display into virtual sub displays for the desktop is really handy. I'm using DisplayFusion to set the snap-to maximize on the desktop to 3x 1280x2160. Makes it so I can have open three full webpages at once. Seems good for multitasking. My ASUS R9 280X Matrix did not like to recognize the display as 3840x2160 even at 24 or 30hz so I swapped in my EVGA GTX770 and am currently running it at 3840x2160 30hz. I have the new Club 3D DisplayPort 1.2 to HDMI 2.0 active adapter on backorder. That should take care of my resolution and hz issues for both AMD and Nvidia options. 2160p is super hard on the GTX770. It was struggling in Fallout 4 at medium settings. Looks like a GTX980 and/or R9 Fury is in my future soon. YouTube is a train wreck when it comes to 4k native content. A bunch of idiots put upscaled 1080p content on their channels and claim it's 4k. Most 4k movie trailers on YouTube are upscaled junk. Amazon Prime has about a dozen Ultra HD movies and series. About the same level of content with Netflix too. Something to note on Netflix, you don't get access to Ultra HD content until you upgrade your subscription plan to "4 screens + Ultra HD" option which is $11.99/month. The content isn't there yet. My guess is this time next year it'll be a lot better situation for 4k content. I'm glad I went with the 43" and not bigger. The 43" is borderline overwhelming for desktop use. I'm pretty happy with the setup and anxious for that adapter to get here asap so I can get 60hz. Was it worth $500? For me yes. I love the desktop real estate. I'm used to multi-display productivity. Now I can sub-divide a single screen up and do the same thing without having three or more displays on my desktop.

HDMI port 5
On the Vizio M-series it's HDMI port 5 and it's labeled in yellow as "4k @ 60hz" "1080p & higher". Not sure what they're trying to say with the "1080p & higher" but the "4k @ 60hz" means HDMI 2.0 port. They only have one port capable of 60hz, so make sure you plug into port 5 for the computer. Also your video card needs to have an HDMI 2.0 capable output port. If it's only HDMI 1.4a then you need to get that Club-3D adapter I mentioned above. "DisplayPort 1.2 to HDMI 2.0 Adapter". Part number "CAC-1070". they also make a mini-displayport version if your card is mini-displayport instead of regular sized displayport. Make sure to get the right displayport size for your video card if you get an adapter.

Port 5 is suppose to be intended for PCs. 1080p can do 60hz and 120hz, 2160p can do 60hz but every res inbetween and lower than 1080p can only do 24/30hz

Hrrrm, if it can do true 1080p 120hz, wonder if I can trick my 3D vision Kit to work with it? Guess I'll experiment a bit with it.

Ok that sounds easy enough and I am pretty sure my titan x's will work with that monitor.

The display gives options for 4096x2160 and 3840x2160. Anyone running 4096x2160? I'm trying it out. I like it a bit better on the desktop with it. Better allows three windows side by side although 3840x2160 works ok for that too. I shot an event with my DSLR camera this weekend and used the screen to edit the photos in Photoshop. Wow is it nice to have this resolution in Photoshop. Not sure if I mentioned it in a previous post but I like the fact the display is not a glossy screen. Glossy computer screens annoy me with ambient light reflection.

Been running it non-native for 2 days now. Not experienced any adverse effects from it. Fonts and desktop windows are still crisp. bear in mind that upscaling always looks much worse than downscaling. 4096x2160 is downscaling. I'm using Nvidia GPU scaling on it.

There are no TVs that use PWM. The Vizio has an option to turn off the screen only, but you would have to do this manually.

Well I read yest. that all TV's do use pwm or flicker except for sony and lg oled. I read that this vizio does not do 4k @ 60 hz @ chroma 4:4:4 so I will pass but thanks for posting the deal since others may use and like this tv for the price is very good. Here is a link to the info I read on 4k TV's used as monitors, if you go down to the second to last question you will see the info about pwm/flicker. http://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews/by-usage/pc-monitor/best?uxtv=86de

I'm so sorry. I confused Pulse-Width Modulation with power management. Now I understand what you mean. The Vizio has something called Clear Action, which strobes the backlight, but also dims the backlight by more than 50%. It does not cause any flicker. The panels are capable of 4K at 60Hz, but only at 4:2:0. You get 4:4:4 at 4K@30Hz, though.
