Before Christmas?

  Got approved for step up (from 760 to 970), got payment processed, and just sent card in today (Using UPS Next Day Air). Should be there on Friday, Dec 19. I also payed for EVGA to ship new card back to me via UPS Next day Air.
  After I got back home I looked on website and noticed they have a Holiday Shutdown and the last day they will ship out will be Monday Dec 22. What are my chances of getting card before Xmas? If I have to wait till Jan 6+ then that would be bad since I payed over 100 bucks for overnight shipping just to get it 3 weeks later. If they would have stated this in the emails I received then I would have waited so that I wasn't without a video card.

    Considering their holiday hours have been posted on the site for awhile its not necessarily their fault. You also have to take into account UPS and their ability based on all the shipping that occurs during the holiday season.  If your card is received on Friday they typically take 1-2 business days to process (Saturday doesn't count, their closed) So its going to be cutting it close for you.  UPS shows they will not pick up or deliver on the 25th (Christmas)  So you should luck out if EVGA ships on the 22nd.
     
    Alternatively you could you know.. have waited until after the holidays since your step-up RMA # is good for 14 days.

    They didn't finally approve the RMA until the 17th( I had submitted payment on the 16th). If I'd waited till after the holidays then that would of been around 19(+) days.

    pretty sure the 14 days do not start until after they've told you to ship your product.. and even if that was the case I highly doubt they'd send you back your card and go nope you took 5 days longer.  Either way its too late so all you can do is hope its processed on Monday. They've posted that it takes 1-3 days to process and ship out. I also don't see where you're getting January 6th from, it would be delivered the 29th which is the following Monday after Christmas.

    The RMA/warehouse schedule shows no shipping the 23 and 24 and will be closed from Dec 25 to Jan 5.
    They sent me the email yesterday with the RMA label and instructions to send it in. I sent it today first thing in the morning.
    So if they shipped it overnight on Jan 5 I'd get it on the 6.
     
    All I can do is see what happens and go from there.

    ah my mistake, didn't actually look at their closing dates fully to get your jan 6th dead.  Either way good luck hopefully they can get it out to you on Monday.

    If your original product arrives by tomorrow December 19th,  your step-up should ship Monday the 22nd.  
     
    If there is a delay outside of EVGA's control for example shipping damage or transit delay, it will not ship until EVGA opens in 2015.

    Great experience and loved the customer service with EVGA. I even got a back plate with the step up woot! I hope they all have a great Xmas and New Year.
