Personal opinion. Buy a Bose. Always found Beats to be really tinny and cheaply built.

It did get 4.6 out of 5 stars, if that makes a difference.

Don't get me wrong, Bose is pretty good too.

They always have gotten high ratings but when I have tried them out. They didn't sound great for the price. After taking apart a broken beats i have found you can find similar parts really cheap. You can make a similar in-ear for about $20-30 headset for $50-100. Depending on the model. Again personal opinion but I have done some research into them.

I too have had Beats (in-ear headphones) and I agree - they are too bass'y and don't provide enough substance.  I sold them and bought a pair of in-ear Sennheiser sports headphones and they're amazing.

Agreed!  I've never dis-liked a pair of Sennheisers.  Even Sennheiser's cheap stuff is well above average in both sound and build quality.  And even if you do want heavy bass - buy some Sony MDR-XBs for less than half the price of Beats and be on your way...  You just won't look as "cool".
