You guys go ahead and play this "Beta" version.  I'll get it on Black Friday for half off with some fixes

I played for a little over an hour yesterday - both MP and SP - I didn't encounter 1 hiccup at all.  The game is GORGEOUS - and RUNS PERFECT @ 3440x1440p - I'm not sure how many FPS I was getting (my monitor is 60hz, so that means I only need to really get 60...) - No screen tearing.  So awesome

I understand your skepticism Evga570, from the previous "Beta" releases. BF4 was not fixed when they released it for an example. I have yet to play BF1, I am encouraged from the feedback people are giving.

I only played a few maps, but the detail is SO good.  Distance detail is top notch, and you don't see textures/shadows/items popping up.  At least that is how it is for me.  I'm on High settings with 1080.  One of the levels is in the middle of a forest - looks like Battlefront and its creamy delicious!!!

SO GOOD

As others have stated the first Single Player level was really neat.  It was an experience like nothing I've had before.  During the first portion I ran out of bullets with my rifle, then ran out of bullets with my pistol, got a shovel kill, and then things got interesting....

lol please.

Jacob was playing it during the stream today and it came to a crawl for no reason at one point, then the rest of the time in 1080p with the beast stream machine they are using it was going from 80-140 framerate. That most definitely is not "runs perfect".

Not to mention it was a sniper fest

Not my fault if you're offended.

I have played it at 1080p 1440p and 4k (all gsync) all on ultra and high and the only real issues I get is when I run DX12. DX11 runs perfect. The game is fun but the learning curve will make you punch a baby seal in the throat. I am so use to having scopes on everything. The maps are BEAUTIFUL and i mean B E A U T I F U L !!!

Well I will say that this game is wonderful. I have about 10+ hours into it.  No crashes major glitches or anything.  Well refined, well balanced, well made.  This is, to me atleast, the best battlefield release ever.  And I have played since the start.

It's definitely not a beta. It plays great on my setup and I too haven't experienced any issues. It's easily my favorite Battlefield yet.

I will be 100% honest with you. I get 100+ FPS at all times using a heavily overclocked 980 TI @1080P. However, after playing a couple of games, The game will just crash. I have the latest version of nVidia drivers too. I don't know if it is only me. Oh well :)

EDIT: I also forgot to say, that I totally agree with all the positive reviews. The game is beautiful and run very very smooth without stutter @Ultra and DX11. I even turned off GPU VRAM RESTRICTIONS.

Hi dakon, I've added you on Origin.

Hi Husky, I'd try with GPU VRAM restrictions disabled as it may cause unpredictable results.

Super excited to hear this. Tuesday cant come fast enough! I am late to the BF party though. I have only played BC2. BF3 and now getting this one. I skipped BF4 because they repeated the BF3 release all over again. Looks like they learned their lesson with this new one. FINALLY!

Yeah that is a very nice brain washing program EA is investing on alright, it is working like a charm so far
If i dont get it for free.99, i won't play it

I really don't know why you think the way you do, atfrico.  EA isn't brainwashing anyone.  People who enjoy BF1 (including myself) make our own decisions.  I didn't like the actual beta but the final release is a far cry from it.  EA has made a brilliant game according to the few of us who have stated it being the best Battlefield ever - but you're welcome to think what you like, of course.

I seriously suck at the game. Last round, i started 0-10, and ended up 4-10. But I've never had so much fun getting crushed! :)

I got Rekt by tanks, flak gun an airplane, and got sniped the rest

Been a BF fan since 1942, and bf2 was one of my favs.  So far, BF1 is an amazing game.  They need to tweek a few things but overall a very very solid game for the franchise.  Can't wait until the custome games comes out with more weps & gadgets.

Vegeta, I'm not too great either but overall the teamwork is fun.

I'll give my impressions after a weekend playing :

MAPS are awesome / gorgeous / intricately detailed ...fun to play & look at.
Gameplay feels fairly balanced , matches more times than not end up extremely close ( few times it's been a blowout )
I really sucked for a day - 1/2  until I learned better spots on map to play.  so far the Beta desert map is the most plain generic of them all , the rest are really good.

Bad parts : it IS the exact same netcode still, flashing the same net icons in corner of screen, even though my internet & connection are great  -BUT- it feels/ plays better I think because everything is 60HZ ( helps alot )

GUN choices are weak/ limited.  Assault class literally gets 2 guns choices !  yes you read that right, 2 !  an automatic with variations on it & a shotgun w/ various variations to it.  ( I am disappointed by that big time )
So far support & medic class get better guns & variations - But not by much.

I am guessing they are going to put the majority of new, great guns into all the Premium pack expansions --?

* I am having a fun time playing it though. It is actually quite a good time. balance feels pretty good, compared to the Beta.  A few tweaks here and there and it's gold. NO where near as disastrous as their last launches ....

by the end of the weekend, I was getting a lot better. I gave up on assault & stuck to Medic & Support, did my job and got lots of points.
I think I might have hit @ 10 matches being the #1 on the scoreboard on the entire team - whether we won or lost . good stuff.
