Battlefield 1 Log on Issues

Is anyone else having problems getting into the game?  I hade a problem this morning when I was home.  I have not had any issues for the past couple of days but I keep getting a message that I am off line and to connect.  The thing is I am connected to the internet.
I have tried:
Restarting the game
Restarting my computer
Restarting my router ( cable modem connect by wire)
Repairing the game.
Turning off Norton's firewall.
 
I tried to get to EA's Battlefield 1 forums page and first was told the  page could not be found and the was told that my Ip was banned.  This was from my work computer. (I own the business) 
 
I have also read that there has been a Denial of Service attack today that has caused problems on the east coast .  Perhaps that is the issue.
 
Any ideas?

    There is a ddos attack going on. All servers for BF1 down for USA. Been going on for several hours. Blame poopdlecorp, the hacking team. Google it

    I was going to take today off (paid leave) to play this game.  I'm sure happy I didn't!
     
    So annoying.  Hopefully they get this ironed out soon - and maybe we will all get some free supply drops! :D
