Just put my SR-2 on an 8101 WU that looks like it will make the deadline now.  I'm all-in at this point and also hoping that EVGA's email will go out soon to rally more troops.  We could bring-da-pain if we could get some more people Folding with us on the Team.  I just read Troy's latest update that the email is waiting approval.  I hope they get that thing out today and that it will yield some extra power for our Team!!

    Roger that Scotty!

Lets see some of those folders that only fold part time fold for a extra hour or so a day 1 extra WU.
Pull out some of that old hardware laying around collecting dust and put it to use.
Game for a little shorter time each day, all these can help more than you may think.

I'm just slightly hampered because I cant run the i7, i3 and GTX460 at home because it will be too hot for the rest of this week and weekend at my place and I wont be home to monitor it and to keep the poor cats from dieing from the heat.  I have every system outside of my home on for as long as possible though.

I think you mean "Battle stations!"
We are finally supposed to drop below 100 degrees this weekend so I can start up my second rig.

Actually I was thinking of the game/new movie release, but Battle Stations would make a more fitting title, I'll fix it. Thx

I'd love to see an report of the Kw/ph output from all of team evga members this week. It's probably enough to supply vegas for a day.

I'm currently around 400 Watts with 3x rigs SMP folding.  If I start adding in GPU's, then it will be over 1KW per hour.

4P is what the doctor suggests for immediate healing of "Bigadv withdrawal disorder"!

Of course, then you may have another disorder known as lak-a-moola.

Actually 60,000 additional PPD. It's putting out around 55,000 doing regualr -smp (that's wth dual E5649's). With faster cpu's that can complete -bigadv on time the PPD is around 125,000 (That's with dual X5670's or X5675's). So that's actually 70,000 additional PPD. If I get lucky and score another set of X5690's it will be 85,000 additonal PPD for a total of 140,000.

Tell me about it. If I can get an 8102 it's 205,000 PPD on my X5690's and 180,000 PPD on my X5670's and X5675's. Wish they would keep those around.

So true. I'm itching to build a 4P E5 4600 system. Minimum price is around $5000. $2200 for a 4U barebones chassis and $2400 for 4 "ebay" cpu's. Then there's the cost of memory. But it will do 900,000 PPD according to a spread sheet I saw from [H]. If true, I would sell my entire current server setup to fund that build. Lord knows I have a lot more than $5000 in it.

I know a lot of people would not want this to happen, but maybe raise the EVGA bucks
    to 1st 250k 2nd 500k for a few months.
That should get people to fold more & longer.
or 200k/400k to get the bucks.

I know a lot of people would not want this to happen, but maybe raise the EVGA bucks
    to 1st 250k 2nd 500k for a few months.
That should get people to fold more & longer.
or 200k/400k to get the bucks.

The evga bucks is considered a bonus already, so I doubt it will get changed

I didn't think so plus its for the little guy as well as for those that have more & bigger rigs.
But that would add 50k to 100k a month to the tally per person if they went to 200k/400k.

Just trying to think of ways to get the points up plus more work done for the cause.

I know when I worked the old Abit forum "hardware forum like this" when ever I helped someone
and what I did actually help them I kindly mentioned we had a folding team & we would be glad
to have them join up with us. I'd toss in a few links about F@H & help links to get them started.
I didn't push it or keep after them, but you might be surprised at how many did actually joined.
Of course I would also help them with any question or setup problems with F@H.
I may start doing that here. So long as there is no rules preventing it?
Anyone that folds & also likes helping others trouble shot there problems could do this as well.

    Fold Team Fold!
