My rigs are still cranking them out and tomorrow is work week, so GPU folding time too.  Plus its a start of a new month, so maybe we will get some of those buck folders to join in.

We need to keep this pace up or get moving a little faster.  We are cutting it awfully close to making that Oct 12 hold off from [H].  Also noticed [H] had a rather nice dip in points Sep 29.  Maybe they caved in a little, hopefully not to spike a rebound.

my 780i is still chugging away with 1 9800 gtx but unfortunatley the other one seems to have failed cause it wont boot when i install it, gotta call evga in the morning for some info before i go about submitting an rma on the failed card.

i am offended by your sig so you need to remove it.

I was wondering if we push them back if they would give up when we push them beyond the two year anniversary.

[H] weekend drop was due to a server issue rejecting BA workunits.
It affected us as well, though not as badly.  HUGE was of resources will all that work gone to waste.

Happens I suppose.

Anyone noticed that regular SMP is getting longer and longer workunits?  I seem to get a lot that are take ~12 hours and more on my rig.

I'm currently running a P7033 and has a 8:59 TPF!!

+1'd your rig. looks nice.
you should be able to get 900-950 out of your 560.  Just plug the number into Afterburner/Precision and set up a custom fan profile that is a bit more aggressive than the standard one and you should be good to go.

3960x may be a bit more difficult, what with Ivy's cooling issues.  What type of cooling do you have on it?

I had my 560 overclocked but I took it off a while ago because of work units failing with a nvidia update. But lucky I fixed that let me get more juice out of my cpu.

edit its already at 900 and i have the fan profile at 79%

I bought them at a garage sale for 15 bucks and they put out 15k (5K per card) .......

Sorry guys, I stopped folding on the HD 5770 on my second rig.

It was killing the SMP WU return bonuses, so my average PPD went up significantly...

Nothing to be sorry about there as your overall return increased.

On another note, it is amazing the difference in PPD I am seeing on -SMP at the moment.
Apart from a small glitch on the 09/28 I have not touched this machine at all.  The daily points variance it
solely from the different PPD of various -SMP units, and that I am getting the occasional very long unit.
Currently folding P7038 with an 8:59 TPF - 15 hour runtime !

Utilities have been REALLY tight and been moving from place to place constantly this last year. But received the call to arms a few weeks ago and started Foldin a little on my work laptop (i5 2520M and GT 540M). This weekend it was cold enough to justify running main rig as a room heater... i5 2500K 4.1 and GTX 670.

Great to hear about what you are doing and thank-you!

I use both the V6 Console client and V7.  From just a SMP Folding perspective, the two clients perform about the same, but there are subtle differences.  For example, I don't receive certain SMP WUs (A4 cores with the 10% bonus) unless I run the V7 client.  Depending upon what OS you want to use, there can be other differences.  I run the V6 Console client under Ubuntu on some of my rigs and tend to get somewhat better performing SMP WUs vs using Win7 and V7.  But for most practical purposes, just run whatever client you like or that is most compatible with the OS of your choice.

From a GPU Folding perspective, if you are running a Kepler, there are only (2) choices, either V7 or FAH Tracker V2 using the new GPU.txt file, running advmethods and beta.  The V6 Console client for GPUs will not run a Kepler GPU (at least I haven't been able to get it to work).

I don't think we have a "fat lady"...so, it may never be over!!

If [H] can catch us with the run-away production that EVGA set over the past couple years, then we can catch [H] too.  All we need is to maintain our production and wait for a shift-in-the-rift (Folding wise).  If Stanford ever gives GPUs a boost for completing WUs well ahead of schedule, Kepler is optimized...you get the picture, EVGA could be launched into exactly what [H] is currently enjoying.  Reminds me of favorite quotes from the movie "Patton".  "All glory is fleeting" and "if we are not victorious, let no one come back alive"!!

Be patient my fellow grasshoppers...

Ya I had noticed that too!
Last I checked we were ahead at each update points wise.

I been have some trouble getting to different sites since yesterday.
Seems worse today & EOC is one of the sites.
Not sure if my ISP is having problems or its on my end with some sort of update or change that was made?
Anyone having problems getting to place like here or EOC?
So far no problem uploading work units, so that the good news.
BA should pop soon on the score board soon. [H]

Also hoping to have some more hardware in soon to hold then off even more.
