We are all pirates... Game companies won't make good products for us pirates.

who's we?

What do you mean... YOU PEOPLE?

"Yo, ho, a Pirate's life for me.."

P.S.  I came back from a TDY, downloaded the game, hopped onto the forum and read about all the problem, returned to steam and deleted the game... I have no patience for broken games, but it was free, so I am not too stressed about the release date.

I do think it would be a good idea for EVGA to label this on their site that the republication date of the game has been rescinded and will be released when they change it from a Football Bat to an actual playable game, just so people that buy $750+ GPU's just to get a free game () don't come crying about it.  You know who those people are.. the ones that will never come back because the game from a different company isn't working and they want a free refund of the free game they get the free code for...

That's it I'm never buying EVGA or Nvidia again because my free game was broken. AMD for life...

I played the game for the first time Wednesday evening and had all sorts of problems. Then I realized I was still on the 34x.xx drivers. After I updated to the latest drivers all my problems went away. But I also haven't played a ton. So I'm sure that there are still things I haven't experienced that have problems.

Even if Batman was a console port which is 1/2 the performance of my rig, why does it run so slow.

Clearly there is a serious problem with the game engine, which may need to be completely redeveloped.

I am a developer and I can assure you that consoles and PC programming, while different are close enough that it's not hard to to write games for all the major platforms. Console vendors who make their platforms too proprietary tend to not have many games for them.

You really deleted the game without even trying it??? Why?  You could have at least given it a try and just did the PC performance test.  Your computer would have run this no problem, you have a much better computer than I do and I run this game great.  Sure there might be people out there that are running into problems, but there are also lots of people like me who have zero problems (besides SLI) and playing the game just fine.

To address this bluntly, i don't like having to find fixes to get around 30FPS locks, lack of features, or anything like that.  When I see people showing that PS4 and XB1 are getting better details, I don't feel the need to actually pop in to look when I know the company is already planning a fix.  Basically, I am not upset they pulled it and they are going to work on fixing all of the issues, but I don't feel I absolutely have to jump on every brand new game the moment it releases.  If I wait until they fix it, I don't have to worry about what everyone else is complaining about and I can truly enjoy the game.. It is as simple as clicking  and it magically reappears.  It's not like I threw a disc in the trash or down a disposal chute and can never click install again.

Comparing a gaming admin, which is not an EVGA customer service rep or paid employ and is only affiliated with EVGA as an admin, to EVGA customer service is a moot point. Yes, you may find it distasteful what he said, but it is meant as a jest as many people do things like this.

I am sorry it hurt your feelings, but don't put it on EVGA.  Did you directly message a forum admin or contact EVGA about this?

I know you still have it and didn't throw it away or anything.  It's just that you didn't even see if you were having any problems that some are having.  Would have been nice to know if your computer would have handled the game or not.  Oh, and the PS4 and XB1 are not getting better details.  The only thing they have is a layer where rain sticks to people and a little bit of AO.  The game still looks fantastic.  In fact the PC has features the consoles don't, so it's kind of a wash there.  Plus I am running the game at 60 fps over the console's 30 in 1440p which has 1.6 million more pixels than the console versions, so I'm pretty sure my game looks better then the consoles.

I was more just wanting to know if you would get the problems that some are getting, or if your computer would be like mine and run the game great.

I have it loading now and will give it a try, but disabling SLI (games fault) is a bummer, lol. It is at 50% so far downloaded.

Hey, do us a favor and make a new topic for this (alternative) line of discussion.  No worries there.  But this thread is about Arkhamn Knight and comments should be directed towards that topic.  Thanks.

Awesome, thanks.  Yeah, having no SLI is a big bummer.  I did read the other day someone say that there is a driver update in Geforce experience that adds the SLI profile, but I'm not installing that.  Make sure when you start the game, that you have SLI disabled for the game.  And make sure that you have the PhysX assigned to one of the GPUs.  One of the biggest problems people have and don't realize it, is when it's set to Auto, the game is using the CPU for PhysX instead of your GPUs.  People have commented saying that lots of their problems go away when setting PhysX off Auto and selecting the GPU.

I recommend people only ask for a refund if they are one of the people having the performance issues.  There are plenty of people like me who aren't having performance problems and are loving the game.  I already have 25+ hours in the game and having a blast.

Good info right there.  I will dedicate the physx to card 3, and I will look into unlocking the frame rate as well.  I don't want a 144hz monitor locked at 30fps, lol.
