For the few who have been able to get there hands on a 970 FTW, EVGA is shipping the backplates for them.  I received two in the mail today.
 
Just giving those the heads up to look out for them.

    I have a SC model and just got my backplate in the mail too.

    Do you mind telling me where you ordered it from and if it was in the U.S.? I was not aware of any stock of the 970 FTW anywhere in the U.S. but on EVGAs own store on nearly three weeks ago. I'm just wondering if I missed some availability of it in the U.S. or if you're referring to a different part of the world.

    Well, I'm not from the US, but the thing is that it's more of a pre-order than a, "and now I just have to wait for the mail to arrive" order. :P
     
    I do have a proper invoice for it, just no physical card to register for the promotion. :(

    Ahh I see. Thank you for the additional information. Best of luck receiving your card before the promotion ends, it seems like all of us prospective 970 FTW owners need it.
