There was a completely different promotion, so yes, they would be excluded from this specific promotion, but should still be able to get the original promotion

So wait, the Watchdogs promotion closed, and my card wouldn't get here fast enough anyhow even with next day air, and the Call of Duty promotion starts today on? I just ordered my card yesterday 10/29 at 4:30PM, I didn't get the e-mail notification until 3:32 which means 8 hours wouldn't have given me a chance to order it past midnight anyhow. So are all of those of us that were in this narrow range basically totally out of luck for either promotion? Or can EVGA help us get covered in the new promotion at least?

I am in the same boat, and anxious to know! I would really appreciate if EVGA could provide us with the COD promo instead of WDL, since WDL is "now closed" on the site  

This is an NVidia promotion. EVGA does not control the NVidia game promotions. The Watchdogs Promo ended the 29th, so if you ordered on the 29th, you may still qualify. It goes off of purchase date, not off of delivery date.

Lays out the entire window of purchase dates as well as window to redeem your game codes. If you were in the watchdog promotion window, you get plenty of time to redeem so you haven’t lost out, you just need to read the terms and conditions.

Ok so we should be eligible for the Watchdogs one. Does anyone want Watchdogs that is getting COD and want to swap codes?

This definitely is an issue. Because I purchased my card on 10/29, but since it was still processing it wouldn't allow me to claim the code for Watchdogs. Since nVidia actually considers it still valid, I would think that it's up to EVGA to work with nVidia to get us covered in either the WatchDogs or Call of Duty promotion rather than allow for this gap in coverage to exist.
 
Also it looks like nVidia will honor redemption of OEM codes for cards purchased through October 30th and you have until November 30 to claim, but EVGA has apparently run out of codes as of 10/29. But they said to check back 11/3. If we cannot get this then that's pretty much garbage that either nVidia or EVGA allowed this gap of coverage to happen for people since they have no control over when they purchase the card. Really what EVGA should do is allow people to do a return/buy exchange to get their purchase date reset to 11/01 etc. to let people that bought it that didn't receive their card to redeem the EVGA promo code to get the nVidia promo code for the game. Personally I would much rather have the Call Of Duty Black Ops, but something is better than nothing, especially considering how long it took for us to finally get cards.

I ordered my 3090 FTW3 Ultra card on 10/27 and received it on 10/29. I did not get it installed until the night of 10/30 because I had to cut on my old case (Antec Atlas 550 Mid-Tower Case) with a Dremel tool to get the card to fit I was able to play Warzone a couple times last night with all settings maxed out at 2560 X 1440 resolution on a Samsung Odyssey G7 32" monitor. Very nice! I am old mind you (62) so my vision isn't what it was when I was younger but finally I was able to spot people from distances and when up close there was no blurring. OK I do not know all the technical terms but it looked great. I came in second on my first game with the new card. I was using a GTX 980 SC before this card and the difference is huge.
 
Here are some of my thoughts and complaints: 
1.) During the registration I was presented with two options (5 years $30 and 10 years for $60) to purchase an extended warranty. I selected to make a purchase and it kicked me out of the page. I do want to make that purchase and need to find that page again.
2.) The documentation on this card is almost non-existent. If there is a manual somewhere can someone please point me to it.
3.) The only thing that comes with the card is a metal bracket that you can use to mount the other end of the card to your case. It says it can be used "if the case supports it". My box is old but I fashioned a bracket for it out of the drive bay metal that I had to cut on The card is pretty heavy and I did not want it to break the PCIe slot on the motherboard.
4.) I have an HX750i power supply. EVGA recommends a 750 PSU minimum on their website but when I installed the Precision X1 software it notified me that it was insufficient and pointed me to their 850 PSU's to purchase. I knew I would not be able to overclock it but I did expect it to work if I didn't. The two games I played seemed fine but I will eventually get another PSU if I see its an issue. I did use three separate 8 pin cables coming from the PSU to the card. Modular PSU's are the only way to go.
5.) This is my biggest complaint and I am not too happy about it. When I registered the card and uploaded my invoice on 10/30 I immediately went to a link I had saved in my browser to get the Watch Dogs: Legion code and the page showed that I had purchased a qualifying card but reported that the promotion was closed! I wrote an email about it to EVGA and the webmaster wrote me back and said they were sorry but we have limited codes! I paid $1864.09 for this card and can't get the software that was advertised with the card? I am going to write Sales and Customer Service but EVGA needs to make this good. Even if I have to take the newer call of duty promotion. I did not have a choice as to when I could purchase this card.
 
I looked at that spreadsheet and noticed no one else has received their notification for a 3090 FTW3 Ultra card since the day I ordered it so I know I am lucky to even get one in my hands. With that said I still think the promotion should be honored. 

I got an email from the webmaster at EVGA while I was typing the above message and I am including it below. Hopefully I will get a game after all this is over

It doesn’t hurt to register the card and see. It seems the promotions being back to back people should be able to get a game unless they forgot to claim after registering.

So I just got my 3080 yesterday here in Taiwan. Am I not eligible for a code? I registered my card and nothing seems to be coming over.

The multiplayer seems like it will be a lot of fun but the story trailer doesn't really show that much about what the story is about. Am I the only one who still plays through the single player for games like CoD or is it that everyone just cares about the multiplayer only. I do understand that is really where the meat of the game is but still single player can be a lot of fun.

Your not the only one, but maybe we're in the minority. Although single player can be fun, the 5-8 hour average campaign lengths imo not worth the price of admission and I'm one that doesn't really care for the multiplayer.
