Also, I've found that loosening your memory timings sometimes can give some safety cushion to prevent memory related crashes.  Seems to have worked for me.

tight memory timings will get you those last 50 points benchmarking, but quite often destroy real world stability.  And there is no real performance difference 2100 6-6-6-12 or 1600 9-9-9-24.
Best to have some breathing space for real world applications and tighten them up for benching.
