If I RMA my Dual bios gtx 770 with this new bios will that be ok?  Or will I have to reflash the bios that it had out of the box?

Will this eventually be released for the 02G-P4-2765-KR (Non Dual Bios GTX 760 SC with ACX Cooler) ? If not I will have to return this card as 43% minimum fan makes too much noise for me to tolerate in my otherwise silent system. I see no reason as to why this can't be released for a non-dual bios card. If a public release isn't happening for this as it may be considered risky, is there anyone from EVGA who can send me a BIOS with the fan profiles for my card? I'm not afraid to flash my card, I've flashed other cards in the past.

I'm also a owner of the 02G-P4-2765-KR (Non Dual Bios GTX 760 SC with ACX Cooler). I'm also interested to set the Fan speed below 43%.
Is there any Reason why this Update was only released for Dual Bios Models?
The Temps on my Card always below 30°C so it should be not a problem with a little bit lower Fan Speed i think.

I've received Bios Updates for my old EVGA 560Ti SC. This Card also was not a Dual Bios Model. And i must say, the Update Rocked :-) One of the best and most silent Cards i ever had :-)

Where is the bios update for 02G-P4-2774-KR? This card is louder than a reference on idle, quiet unacceptable.

Pottulaari
Guess what would be nice?

Giving similar bios for ones who do not have new Dual BIOS versions. My 02G-P4-2774-KR is insanely noisy and it certainly needs similar BIOS update too.

Joining the request here, the noise level at idle is very annoying even if the temp' is 18C i cannot go any lower

I just recently bought an EVGA GTX 770 Classified that does have double BIOS; its code is 04G-P4-3778-KR. Why isn't there a BIOS update for it? It does have double BIOS. What's up with this? Why does it not get the update?

Would be nice to see an update for the 02G-P4-2774-KR.  Same problem as the others, same design.  I don't much appreciate ACX being advertised as silent and getting leafblower, fix your defects.

I search for quite a while for an alternate BIOS the other day, to no avail. Then found this thread last night. I updated my primary BIOS and it helps a lot. I have a Bitfenix Prodigy on my desk 2 feet from my head. The card is still the loudest thing in my computer, but this sure does help.

Why don't I see this update for my 3778-KR? (770 Classified ACX)

Someone in this thread already posted they enjoyed the update for theirs and in some online videos they show the update available for the card.

I thought maybe mine shipped with it, but I can only go down to 35% in Precision X.

There is no indication of this BIOS version in your post, or the downloaded file.  Pretty standard practice to have this info so things can be verified!  What version should this BIOS report?  PerformanceTest shows 80.4.c3.1.72.

And why aren't BIOSes listed on the BIOS/Drivers page?  Thanks.

I have a GTX 770 4G Part Number: 04G-P4-3773-KR
I can't find the zipped file containing the BIOS on the site.
Is it possible my card shipped with the latest BIOS ?
BIOS Version 80.04.C3.00.70 (P2005-0000)

Thanks

My 02G-P4-2763-KR (GTX 760) is the loudest thing in my computer, the ACX cooling systems high minimum RPM causes a distraction when watching movies.  Please release a BIOS update with a lower minimum RPM. I'm an adult with over 35 years experience in computer hardware, I think we should be trusted to make our own decisions regarding our graphics cards RPM/temperature balance.

One more you need to shut down EVGA Precision X before re install Nvidia Drivers select Driver and PhysX only then tick in a box preform a clean installation when done installed do reboot windows!

Re: BIOS update for select 770/760 Double BIOS SKU's 2014/01/06 08:08:59 (permalink)
I just bought an EVGA GTX 760 SC ACX (02G-P4-2765-KR) and as soon as I turned my computer on I was like... "what's that noise?" My old EVGA GTX 660 vanilla is way quieter at idle. My 760 is idling at 23ºC... what's the point of 43% minimum fan speed? why did you create such a fantastic cooling solution and then proceeded to cripple its acoustic performance by setting such a high minimum RPM level for the fan? This card needs a BIOS for <43% fan speed. The heatsink itself performs really well which makes such a noisy fan profile even more pointless.

Edit: I've found out that at 45% speed the fan sounds better than at 43% (less humming). It's a significant improvement, but it would be even better if we could set it at 31-42%, specially since Dual BIOS owners can do it.
Edit2: After more testing I've determined that at 43%, 44%, 52% and 53% the fan sounds "bad" and at 54% and 55% it sounds absolutely TERRIBLE, over 55% the fan is loud enough to somewhat cover the humming. The sweet spot in terms of noise seems to be at 45% at idle; with load you need to make a custom curve and avoid at least 54% and 55% at all costs.

My 02G-P4-2765-KR is also in a serious need for a bios update.
That noise from the fans is the loudest thing on my system, and the current minimum fan speed gives a "nice" resonance sound for me too.
Can you PLEASE give us the updated bios also. This kind of problem is really ridiculous.
