LOL.. I added myself to the auto-notify list for 980SC and 970SC.. received the following email timestamped 6:56pm today (Sunday): Dear EVGA Customer,

So I click the link a couple of hours later when I actually have the time to read the email. The card is not available. I guess new stocks sold out almost immediately. On a Sunday night. I sigh and put myself back on auto-notify.  I get the feeling this is going to go on for a while. Shame we can't just pay for the card now to get in line for delivery, rather than rely on being lucky enough to be able to log on at the precise moment more stock comes in. Also that would let the suppliers know how much stock they need... but hey, that would make too much sense right? lol.

I was on auto notify for the 980. Never got the email, unless your email was for the 970. (I just did auto notify again, just in case) ;)

Yeah sorry, the notify was for the 970SC (going to grab it for my wife - she's using a single vanilla 580 at present).

I recieved one too about an hour earlier but i did auto notify for 980 SC acx 2.0 and of course it was not available....why isnt it on neww egg yet i wonder :(

W( O)(o )T!!! I checked my email and before I closed the application I checked once more and boom! there was the EVGA product notification email for the 980SC (non-ACX). I immediately went to the website here and yup, sure enough, AVAILABLE! I ordered 2 of them, plus a pretty EVGA bridge. I checked back on the EVGA 980 page once my order was complete, and they were all out of stock again. Less than 10 minutes from timestamp on email to stock completely drained again. Total luck just checking email at exactly the right moment. Yay!~  The 970SC (non-ACX) for my wife is already en route from Newegg.  Happiness filled. . Note: there's a bunch of 970 models available at EVGA right now...

When I signed up to be notified for a 770 classified backplate I did not get an email until about a week after I bought it. I set up auto notify but would check the store page regularly and happened to see it was in stock one day. After a week of owning the backplate and using it, I got my email.
TLDR: In my experience the notification s are delayed a lot. But I could be wrong about the new cards.

So I wonder long it will be before this ends. I have EVGA GTX 680, Wanted to replace it with a GTX 980(eventually SLI 980's) but they are always out of stock. I can't camp while at work.
