Thanks. Have these been coming back in stock frequently or has it been taking weeks once out of stock?




I live in Canada as well, and bought my first card from Newegg on Sept 22. Got it the 29th after the weekend. Bought a second card on Oct 9th and got it on the 14th.

Yeah ... but I guess I am in a particularly bad need for two high-end cards for this second rig of mine.  I have cabbaged a card from my first rig to use in my second rig and I want to put it back.
 
This is worse than when the 680s were released two years ago.



I'm with you on this. I have to send my second card out for replacement tomorrow leaving me with nothing. I'm tired of buying, waiting, returning, and waiting so I'd like to get a classy and call it a day. My F5 key is about to break. Not sure why they'd list is so far in advance to it actually being sold.
 


The only other card I see out there that's in stock at the moment is a Zotac.  How come they are in stock?  Are they crappy cards?  I don't know anything about them.  Haven't read any reviews on them.  Haven't seen any reviews on them, for that matter.

From what I've read the Zotac reference cards are the same as anyone else's but their custom cards are crap. You can find a few bad reviews out there.

Newegg has been getting sc's and acx 2.0 sc's every day or two. Keep your eye on nowinstock.com.

They were available at 7:51pm according to my email. So about 35 minutes if it's the same time.

I want two of them.  If I have to get them one at a time, that's fine.  I don't think they'll let you have more than one anyway.  At least not at this time.  Later when there's more stock then you can probably order two at once.  But for now, I'll settle for one.

I could be mistaken, but I do believe another user made away with two yesterday. I think the error folks were seeing was due to stock being totally depleted, so you could always give it a try!
 
Now for EVGA to send the cards. :)
 
EDIT: The cards are available now, someone just bought two.

Something happened to my CC number according to the site.  I had everything entered and it said there was an error.  By the time I entered it again, they were gone.

I had to sit on my computer for 6 hours and constantly click refresh for the last 2.. Im pretty sure I refreshed/started my purchase within 30 seconds of them being available.. 2-3 minutes later gone.

Must be Deja Vu.  I sat there hitting f5 every 10 seconds or so.  Then sometime around 5:45 EST there was that nice green button saying "add to cart".  So I did.  Had my CC sitting right in front of me.  Made sure that my shipping address and billing address were all correct in EVGA's website.  Entered the CC number, exp date, and security code.  Went to the next page.  Then ... ERROR.  It didn't go through.  The bank thought it was fraud and put a stop on the payment.  Right about that time my phone rings, and it's the bank.  I was livid, to say the least.  I won't tell you what I told/called them.  It would be edited right off this page.  I don't think I have ever been so infuriated in all my life.  And of course, you're not talking to someone from the United States.  No, it's someone from Sri Lanka, or somewhere, that speaks broken English.  I'm just disgusted with all of this right now.

Sorry to hear that brown, that sounds really awful. There is nothing more frustrating than when your own bank doesn't let you spend your money freely. Recently I had a situation where I did a transfer to pay some rent and ended up with the funds in limbo for a week thanks to it being "suspicious". It's absolutely ridiculous and unforgivable. I changed banks, hope you can too. 
 
Did they become available again in the a.m? If so I think you'll be ok to get one today or tomorrow then. Hopefully your bank doesn't ruin the fun.

Must be Deja Vu.  I sat there hitting f5 every 10 seconds or so.  Then sometime around 5:45 EST there was that nice green button saying "add to cart".  So I did.  Had my CC sitting right in front of me.  Made sure that my shipping address and billing address were all correct in EVGA's website.  Entered the CC number, exp date, and security code.  Went to the next page.  Then ... ERROR.  It didn't go through.  The bank thought it was fraud and put a stop on the payment.  Right about that time my phone rings, and it's the bank.  I was livid, to say the least.  I won't tell you what I told/called them.  It would be edited right off this page.  I don't think I have ever been so infuriated in all my life.  And of course, you're not talking to someone from the United States.  No, it's someone from Sri Lanka, or somewhere, that speaks broken English.  I'm just disgusted with all of this right now.




Ah that sucks mate! I was stopped from making a $400 purchase a few months ago at a store because they assumed it was fraud. Ever since then, I always give my credit card company a heads up. I must have contacted them at least 3 times in the past week letting them know that Im going to make a big purchase at merchant EVGA.COM lol
