Yeah i was one of the lucky few that was able to snag that one late yesterday before they sold out. Only found out because of nowinstock (dot) net At that time (5pm PST) there were only 2 available. I'm very happy with the purchase. The benefits of this ACX 2.0 cooler are when compared to the reference design and competitor offerings. - 0% Fanspeed when card is idle (under 60C)
- 26% Lower GPU Temperature (vs reference)
- 36% Quieter (vs reference)
- 250% Lower Fan Power Consumption (vs reference)
- 400% Longer Lifespan (vs competitor dual fan cooling solution)
It's cons is that - Doesn't have that metal top and bottom sleek design
- Lighted "GEFORCE GTX..." logo on the side
- A back plate to reinforce the card
- A free game? like the 780's do?... (wink)
I would of paid an easy $40-$50 extra for those three. You listening EVGA? Oh well... just happy I finally have a EVGA 980 SC.

What happened to all of these GTX 900 cards? Are they dropping them for something newer, perhaps? Right now there is nothing available on EVGA's website, and there hasn't been for days, maybe a week. There certainly haven't been any GTX 980s available for even longer. I smell something.
