I probably missed it, but I didn't find any mention on your website or on Facebook of the sound card that Andy Grove talked about in the following video:
http://hexus.net/tv/show/2016/01/EVGA_teams_up_with_Audio_Note_to_improve_PC_sound I'm super excited about the development of this sound card, since both D/A converters I use for my computers (one at home, one at work) are probably at least 15 years old and in dire need of being upgraded. I have a couple questions, though:
1) Do you have any projected time frame for the release date?
2) Will this sound card decode MQA-encoded sound files, which Tidal is or will soon be streaming? If not, is there any chance you could talk Andy Grove into adding this feature? I'd be willing to pay extra just for this feature.
I've been waiting so long to upgrade my D/A converters because it seems every time I think about buying one, there is some new file format or feature about to come out. However, if this sound card had the ability to decode MQA-encoded sound files, I would buy it without hesitation as soon as it became available for purchase.
By the way, I have had the privilege of hearing how one of my CDs sounds through Andy Grove's top-of-the-line D/A converter. (I don't how much that model costs, but it's in the 5 figures. It was playing through one of his amplifiers that costs even more.) FWIW, I felt the hairs in the back of my neck stand up when the cymbal crashed near the beginning of the track I heard, which is an experience I've not had any other time when listening to music.
