My place in the step-up queue just popped and reading about all these thermal issues has me a bit nervous. Will the card shipped to me already have the thermal pads and bios applied? It's a 08G-P4-6183-KR. Thanks!

    Yes, all cards shipping for Step-ups after 11/1/2016 have both the optional Thermal Mod and the recommended VBIOS installed prior to shipment.

    this is good to know thanks for posting this question.  I'm REALLY hoping they'll ship mine out so I can play with it on my day off tomorrow.  I'm literally 20 mins away from them but they dont have the means to do will call so i have to wait
