Is it real or fake? The last episode I saw, a ceiling fan that was on a table showed it fly off onto the floor. They have a stationary camera in that room that caught it. I also noticed that there seems to possibly be some over acting. Not sure if that's actually how they are, or what. They use equipment like digital recorders, the SB-11 spirit box, and a device that maps stick figures of spirits in the rooms. I think if we could talk to spirits, then everyone would be doing it.

Re: Anyone watch Ghost Adventures every Saturday night? 2016/11/01 23:30:13 (permalink)
I watch it or tape it every week. Ghost hunters too on Wed nights.

I believe in spirits on Earth.

About 8 years ago I was working in an old theater in NY that has been in town a hundred years.
I was in the boiler room in the basement, we just replaced the main condensate tank for the steam heating system.
Wiring up the condensate pump and getting to a point i could stop and go to the bathroom, I walked out and into the hall way looking down the hall I saw a woman with big hair, a white blouse in like stage play production dress. it is right near where the dressing rooms are.
Well the lady walked into the bath room. I was like "dang it" I really had to go bad. The light was on, I could see cause the door was open, she never closed the door, so I stood waiting and waiting, I had to go PP real bad.
So I thought to my self, OK I have to go shake things up. I'll knock on the door and get her moving. I walk over and look in, I knock and yell out "hello" No one was in there. I looked in/under the stall doors opened the stall doors, there was no one in there and there was no other egress from the bathroom.
I was like what the bleep is going on here
So I go to the bathroom and at the end of the day the lady that is the property MGR comes down to see how well the progress is going and will they have heat that night.
I looked t her, and I said : "I don't want you to think I am crazy, but I saw" and I took a pause thinking should I continue.
Well I did not have to. she said to me " Oh my, you saw her too didn't you?"
I just shook my head yes.

One other time, a couple month later I was sent to a home in Millbrook NY to fix an A/C unit in an attic. I had to run a wire that another company started but left and would not finish the job.
I get there and the homeowner said to me " Are you afraid of ghosts?" OH my I think, my boss sent me, because of the theater Spirit i saw.
So I said " No, I think I saw a ghost before and I was not scared."
Well I get up in the attic, it was June or early July, 10 Am or so, 80f in the attic, not too hot yet.
I start working running a T-stat wire and I felt this cool air, it got colder and colder, so cold I could see my breath, my arms got all goosebumps and the air felt heavy. Like a static charge kind of thing going on.
I said out loud. " I am sorry i am in your space, i have a job to do and I will be a half hour to a hour and I will be out of here."
Right after i said that, it got warm again. June or July it is not cold enough in an attic to see your breath!!
I finished my work, was doing paper work, the homeowners came out to the truck and I told them what happened up there.
They said strange things and noises have been going on since they built the house some years before. They added A/C after the fact.
Come to find out, the original installers got so scared he ran out the house yelling i quit and he never came back.

So yes I believe in spirits earth bound. Are they ghosts, or demons, or just memories somehow repeating what happened in a life.
    I do not know.

Had a couple strange things happen in my own home a couple times i can not explain, stories for another day.

I've heard if you try to contact them, you take a chance of getting an attachment. Sometimes if you go to a place to contact them, they can also follow you home. These are just stories, and cannot be proven.

It is hard to prove, I have had a couple things happen in my house over the years.
Things fall over, spice shakers just fall over on the table on their own.

I have heard whistling, felt a poke in my side when no one else was home but me and the cats.
When I looked over thinking it was the cat, she was not in the room.
I have two cats and a dog. One night I was sitting there and the dog got off the couch, the two cats came in the room from different directions, the sat there in a row next to each other and their heads looking up in the same direction, looking back and forth, left to right.
They did that for a good 3 or 4 minutes, looking, watching something go back and forth.
I could not see a darn thing. That freaked me out. There was nothing there I could see,
One other night sitting on the couch, with my dog sleeping a couple feet away. I was watching TV
I hear someone come down the back stairs. Sounded like a heavy man, it was not my cats. No one else home
The dog heard it, she looked at me, and me at her. She got up, walked over to the door way and started barking, growling and bearing her teeth. She is the most friendly dog ever. Never seen her growl at anyone or thing. She was barking like crazy.
This stuff always happened when the wife and daughter were away for a while. they went a couple times to Florida to help/visit family.
My wife and kids did not believe me, until i did the flashlight thing. When I asked it to turn the light on and the flashlight came on. My daughters jaw dropped and my wife's eye almost popped out.
I asked it to turn the light off, it went off. A mini-mag light. Did it 4 times off and on. Different times inbetween.
    They believe me now.
My brother-in-law is a priest and i told him what I have seen, heard and felt over the years and what happened in my house.
He blessed my house again, (he blessed it when we first moved in) It has been quiet since.
Although sometimes I still think I hear that fain whistle.

When I was a child I heard someone walking back and forth in the attic, pacing back and forth. The house i grew up in.
I would yell to my parents, dad would go look and no one was there.
They would tell me it is the house settling down and creaking.
I somehow blocked it out over time.

I normally do not tell people about this, they thin you're full of BS or you're crazy.
Either you can sense and see them or you can't.
My brother-in-law the priest thinks they are souls looking for prayers.
They want to be accknowlaged and prayed for.

Like he said, they start out real and it is not enough for the TV execs and then they have to add to it.
Kind of sad in a way. Even if you had a real picture of a spirit, with all that can be done with a camera and makeup and special effects, no one would believe it anyway.

No, the show is not real.  My friends and I watch it all the time though for a good laugh.  We actually call the show "Ghost Antagonizers"
