Should we expect a full black x99 any time soon? I'd love to have all black, MSI type of black EVGA board :)

except for the red E, they x99 classy is all black. You can pop out that E and have a complete black board. Or buy Nateman blocks.

By doing that will most likely void the warranty of your board.

I know I sure wouldn't on such a premium priced hardware. heh

No, as long as you save it to put back on if you need warranty work.
Same applies as when you remove the X99 Heat Sink or the VRM Head Sink to put on a Water Blocks.

Evga is very relaxed about modding equipment. As long as its returned to original state you are good to go. Other companies not so much. I remember some guy was having issues with msi for taking apart his gpu heatsink to dust it off. Let me tell you a little secret. You can plastidip the e to make it black and if you have to send it back the plastidip can be peeled off and back to original state.

I believe I saw a video of Jay2cents doing a mod on the E on the X99 Classy MB.  He was saying when attempting to remove it it made it somewhat warped if I recall correctly hence why I thought it would void warranty since it wouldn't look the same as it came out of the box if you put the E back on the board.

Popping it off, spray paint, etc. You guys are over thinking it. I ordered some blue carbon fiber vinyl wrap sample that I was quite fond of off ebay for 99 cents that's plenty to cover the evga E with and the best part should I ever need to RMA the board, I can just peel off the wrap without troubles. :D

I've had to do a little touch up after the photo, and I'm sure I could have done much better if I was using an actual X-Acto knife and not some cheap blade from a utility blade. But I think it's a lot better (and more importantly reversible) solution to everyone's colour gripes. 99cent vinyl wrap sample off ebay.

    Got the sample from here,

    http://www.ebay.com/itm/Carbon-Fiber-Blue-car-wrap-vinyl-air-free-film-choose-your-size-vvivid8-3mil-/161005652425?pt=Apparel_Merchandise&var=&hash=item257caf49c9&vxp=mtr

but really just search "vinyl wrap sample" on ebay and you'll get numerous cheap listings. the sample I got was barely enough to do it once (no do overs) so I actually recommend spending 2.99 on one of the 4x8 samples I see on the site as well, but if you're feeling brave go ahead with the 99cent one (or two of them)
