It’s not just the Galaxy Note 7 that’s presenting a problem — it’s now the Galaxy S7 Edge, too.   Link

To show the gravity of the situation.  I flew from New York City to Dallas a week or so ago.  The flight attendant, prior to takeoff, made an announcement that during the flight, NO Samsung Galaxy 7 or 7 Notes were allowed to be powered up.  FAA had already issued a strong warning.  Now...you can't even take them on the plane, whether powered on or not.  What a mess.

Just 3 incidents with the S7, nothing notable. Yet nobody talks about the iPhone 7 catching on fire
Heck all phones/tablets, all models everywhere are bound to have a few catching on fire out of the hundreds of thousands of batches made.

Let's not forget about their exploding washers too!  Granted LG has had issues with the toploaders doing this also.  https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/the-switch/wp/2016/09/29/samsungs-exploding-washers-raise-serious-questions-about-its-quality-control/

So in my house I have 2 phones, 3 SSDs, a big screen TV, microwave, and refrigerator - all Samsung...  Are we taking like nuclear sized explosion coming???   Better throw another layer on my tinfoil hat!
