Nope, But it's been a while since the crash.... So I don't see how that would be the cause? Especially because only the body was damaged.

My last year has just been unlucky hahaha I understabd how you feel rush... My irat accident I was sitting still at a stop sign wait for the clear and a vehicle on the highway lost control and slid into me, next someone tried to do a u turn in the right straight lane with me in the left straight lane (hadne executed comoletley he would've hit me head on) he turned into my passenger side and crushed that I'm also pretty defensive and expect everythung but I had no clue someone could be that stupid, the. My most recent one was a driver running a red light and totaling my body and my car... I was pretty messed up... Rush I understand and I'm sure both our bad luck streaks are over.

I've been keeping to myself since I was released from jail, I'll definitely be more careful.. I am on probation for the next 3 years and I definitely don't want to go to jail again (for the 3rd time? -_-! ) I've moved past the whole "Takeover" movement, I met a girl I really like and I've been hanging out with her a LOT, That keeps me busy and out of trouble. That whole stage in my life kind of screwed me over, My insurance is higher than my car note. $750 a month and it was HARD to find someone who would insure me with 6 points on my license. I have 2 more tickets I need to take care of and I'm pretty much screwed right now. I'm done. Completely done.

**** WOW!!! That's $9,000 a year and since you want to stick it out for three years thats $27K which you can put a down payment and buy another Mustang if you please. Why not just suck it up and drive a lower end sports car like a BRZ or a Lancer? Then again that means you have to buy another car and make more car payments so no go there. Well I know up here in Texas we are allowed to drive cars that are insured under some one else's name. The law basically is your car just has to be insured. So can you just do that in Cali? If not that, will your father or mother allow you to be insured under their names to make the payments a bit cheaper?

Why would the parents want to endanger their insurance rates? I wouldn't after seeing my adult child and their actions, it's on them. Then if they do decide to do that and the child has another incident on their insurance, who pays for that?...But ,I bet many parents do so "to help" a kid out. It's called enabling the behavior, which has been done in this case. Eventually ,the adult child matures around age 25[or so]. Been there done that. lol

I have to admit, I have seen the threads on your many incidents. When I saw a headline on MSN.com a few weeks ago that said a guy in cali with a "powerful mustang" was in jail after hitting and killing someone. The first thing that popped into my mind was Rush, Cali, Mustang, Lots of accidents and less than legit activities. I came to the forum within the hour to see if you had posted recently. Then a mugshot appeared and I knew it wasnt you. You gotta admit, when that is the kind of impression you give off something has to change. Good on you for spending your time with your girl and keeping the road rash (so to speak) to a minimum.

I laugh because I can afford to pay my $750 insurance, $600 car note and everything I need to pay to live comfortably. Don't worry about others, Worry about yourself, Make sure you don't fall behind on your rent.

You know what? The 2008 is a beautiful model, But I'd suggest getting at least a 2011-2014 so you can enjoy the new 5.0 coyote engine. It is a hell of an engine!

Man this thread is like eternal. Rush, you have more twists than an afternoon soap opera. The car now will not start. $1,350 a month and noting to drive. Whoa. I paid probably the same amount adjusted for inflation when I was younger, but may car payment was much lower, as I ditched the hot road car for more practical transportation. It will drop, but when you get older and start driving slower. This will allow your accidents to come off and then the ticket, which are especially punitive. I can now drive the car that I want to with very low rates. Just paid my wife's and my car off. The first time in 5 year of having no payment. This is fantastic. Hang in there. Some people here like to rustle up trouble and antagonize. Just roll with it.

It was a computer error, Don't worry about it! This was because the 2015 is push to start, The 11-14 is turn key, So it won't have any problems like that. The only real issue is the MT-82 transmission locking up in 3rd gear, although that does happen regularly to people, it doesn't happen to everyone. You'll be safe. They're not really high maintenance cars. Grey_Beard

Yeah, I know how people can be, That's why I don't take it to the heart. If the insurance as under my dads name only, Even though he has 1 point on his license, He'd only be paying $189 a month and that says a lot! We live and we learn, There was mostly issues in my life that needed to be resolved in order to prevent me from needing to go out there and doing crazy things just to "feel good" as a lot of you know, That was my way of resolving my anxiety issues (Which are still a huge problem, But now they're fixed by something else).

Man this thread is like eternal. Rush, you have more twists than an afternoon soap opera. The car now will not start. $1,350 a month and noting to drive. Whoa. I paid probably the same amount adjusted for inflation when I was younger, but may car payment was much lower, as I ditched the hot road car for more practical transportation. It will drop, but when you get older and start driving slower. This will allow your accidents to come off and then the ticket, which are especially punitive. I can now drive the car that I want to with very low rates. Just paid my wife's and my car off. The first time in 5 year of having no payment. This is fantastic. Hang in there. Some people here like to rustle up trouble and antagonize. Just roll with it.
Yeah that sucks big time. As a 21 year old male I pay about $100 a month on insurance. No tickets, no accidents. Car is a base model 2012 Civic that is 100% paid off, sitting at just under 56k miles. Can't imagine paying $1350/month on anything except a Jaguar F-Type or total living expenses.

I can understand where Rush is coming from with his ride.
I too am paying more to enjoy our Mustang GT than I was any of our previous "Business" cars. I was one of those that kept buying Impala's or Fusions for my 20k miles a year driving. Because it was the "Adult" thing to do.
Then I drove the Mustang to a few clients... And that old logic was thrown out the window. To drive a car with more power and control than an economy car is rather therapeutic! Not to mention a blast to feed that adrenalin need on the weekends...

289/mo for insurance on my 2011 G37 Sedan, 270 when I had my 370z. I have several tickets that Ive gotten over the years...meh.
