Ordered May 31st. No answers. No information of any kind. All I get is run around. When can people who ordered the 1080SC via Amazon expect ANY type of solid information?

I ordered on the 31st as well around 2pm, and received the following email after discussing over the phone with someone from their computer dept.
We expect to ship your order in time to be delivered by Tuesday July 5th 2016 - Monday July 18, 2016.
So we might see them within a month or so.

If he got that response in early June, it's probably out of date now (all anyone can really do is be as accurate as possible, but in the end it's still guessing). It seems like today is the first time they are able to get real inventory moved out, including to Amazon and NewEgg, so you will probably get more accurate results asking Amazon about inventory next week.

Good to see they are coming in the not so distant future! I also pre-ordered on the 31st on Amazon, emailed them on the 11th and was told 1 to 2 weeks, in a very vague way that made it sound like a guess to me. Thanks Jacob I appreciate your updates.

It's been about a week, so I am curious to know if anyone in this thread has received their 1080 SC from Amazon yet. I also ordered on May, 31st (about 12:30PM pacific). I have not received any sort of ship date, and both of the times I called Amazon last week, I got no info whatsoever about when it might ship. Not even the vagaries that you guys got, lol.

There was a post here a of a few people getting shipment notice on FTW cards.. not sure about SC model.
I really have a feeling Amazon screwed up big time on that pre-order, they had it up for almost 2-3 hours. I can't imagine how many orders actually got placed during that time maybe thousands?? From what I've been seeing EVGA seems to be sending out small batches maybe 50 units to the big web retailers. Smaller 5 to 10 unit shipments to local stores. Of course those units are guesses but I've seen the Microcenter near me get small batches of 10 cards three times now over the last month. I talked to a rep at Best Buy a few days ago and he confirmed they are only getting small shipments so far.
One thing that I have heard about Amazon people with Amazon Prime get bumped to the front of the line for shipping even if they ordered after you.. so if you don't have a Prime account you could be waiting a while.

I just spoke with Amazon. 1080 ftw preorders are not going to be shipped until July 15th. Grab one somewhere else if you can.

SC - May 31st, 10am-ish Central time. Still nothing. No charge, no order change. Hopefully Jacob doesn't mean Amazon will get them Friday and then figure out how to distribute them over the next 2 weeks.

Yeah I'm one of the many May 31st pre-order-ers. I'm kind of aggravated at Amazon for taking pre-orders on an item that they had no idea when to expect any large shipments on and keeping the pre-order live for hours when everyone else has them available for a few minutes at most. I e-mailed Amazon after waiting about 2 weeks and at that time I was told 1 to 2 weeks (again, if they weren't sure or have too many pre-orders I'd rather be given a realistic time frame). They actually gave me a discount on the card which is great but doesn't get me a GPU.
I love EVGA and have no problem paying what the card is worth. I think we have all came to the same conclusion that given the limited supply from all AIB partners, and EVGA actually replying to shipment requests from them to other websites that they have no control over, that the supply issue is more on the NVidia side of things. I wish NVidia would be a little more transparent. Clearly there is a demand for these cards, they could even throw in the expected PR spin of "The demand for these cards has far exceeded our expectations, blah blah blah [insert unproven number here] people (WOW so many people!) have shown interest in our cards and we will continue pushing out as much product to our partners as we can to fill the demand."
I will be purchasing an EVGA card, albeit possible not from Amazon. And I do love Amazon, but I will think twice before pre-ordering anything from them again especially anything that will be a huge launch.

I'm hanging in there because I had a lot of Amazon gift credit to use on the card. It would be the height of madness to not save $100 on it and look for an SC somewhere else right now.

I just had to do the same on my FTW order. This is the last time I will preorder through amazon. placed order on may 31st and still not getting any kind of delivery estimate from them :(

I just got my notification as well! Sooooo excited. My delivery date is Wednesday (I chose 1 day shipping). Slightly bummed that it will be after the long weekend, but I can use that time to help my friend get upgraded to my GTX 970 FTW 2.0 that I am passing on to him. Good times for all!
