Ahhh but we all/most do something else. I'm a general contractor and get my hands dirty in the field all the time. Been building my own PCs and overclocking for 20 years. We all share the same passion/hobby and as AB said it's easy when you enjoy helping others do the same.

So does it have to be reccomended to receive a BR? I'm kind of curious to know more and maybe I can get enough for a free backplate :)

I put in a lot of effort on my posts in the 900 series forums but I guess I've never gotten one :(

Yes as a way for folks to thank those who have helped them it is recommended and customary to come here as solicit a BR for the helper. That said if a moderator catches a quality post they can issue a BR without a recommendation. Sadly few are even aware the rewards system exist and just another good reason to make it a sticky. Like patting yourself on the back it is frowned upon but given the circumstances I don't blame anyone who does toot their own horn especially when a lot of effort has been put forth.  Other sites use different systems for reward like OCN where any given post can be +rep by anyone at anytime but they don't have a monetary value only a social one. Not sure which is better but this has worked well for many years now here at EVGA. It's hard to imagine peeps are completely oblivious to what the BR system is but for what ever reason they seem unmotivated.

Appreciate the recommendation notfordman, I think he just wasn't wiggle them around right or was trying to put them in wrong, or what?, I have noticed the connectors on the cables that come with EVGA power supply's do fit nice and tight, and there sharp too. but think hes on the right track anyway. Just all in a days work,,,
 
but the fried chicken I was making at the same time deserved a ribbon though 
LOL
