That disqualifies it right away. It must be your own, and not copied from someone else. Sorry man.           :(

But it was my idea... I just used the format from a different thread. Oh well.

@Baltothewolf Copied or not many members have benefited by the thread you started here at our forums. The fact you have taken the time to maintain and update the thread alone is worthy of a BR.
 
@mod Give the man his BR stop being so chin-see. It's folks like this who take there time to benefit others that make this a great place to come and an even better community. It is also why we started giving out BR in the first place.

I spent about 3 weeks helping this member achieve his OC goal.  No BR, but my wife sure thought I was dedicated and helpful to him.  She was pretty patient through the whole thing ...We did finally make it though.    http://forums.evga.com/tm.aspx?m=1941320

Please check this out. This is one of those times when folks go... "Huh? BR for that post!!" when in fact it is the entire effort and we simply post a BR to the thread in the first post the member made for that particular thread. It is not the post that earned the BR, it was the effort as a whole that earned it.

Thanks for the kind words.  There is a sense of satisfaction from assisting someone to achieve a certain goal like this or even simply to have an answer someone may need to be able to move on...

it solved his second post, but he realized the system idles in 1.1 mode 5 minutes after he posted it, still thought it was helpful as other people might freak out and wonder why thier card is running at 1.1, they don't know it does that at idle

Sorry, this is probably a dumb question but I am new. What is a BR?

Beyond helping others which is by far the most important, IMHO, you can earn BR/s for producing a guide or tutorial that is timely and in high demand. Often, if poignant enough they become stickies.
New folks have a tendency to ask the same question that have been asked before. Some are easily answered and others require a bit of thought and extra detail that only the toots and  guides can provide. Also recommending someone for a BR is a genuine way of thanking them, for being a part of the community. Not only is it a status (rep) symbol but one that has tangible rewards. I can attest to this and have used my EVGA bucks in the EVGA store. Finally you can earn evga bucks folding as well. In the end this is what makes this community great and a tremendous resource for those in need of help. Thanks should go out to EVGA for maintaining this forum and it's high standards.
