Hey all

Here something different from me for a change, as most know I mainly build Dual Opterons, but after I got a pm from jamese101, something I am extremely thankful for , even I wish I could do something back in regards...really I wish I could.

He wanted to gift me his ASUS Z9PE-D8 WS Mobo + 2x 4C/8T Intel Xeon E5-2637-v2 Ivy-Bridge EP Engineering Sample CPU's & 8x 2GB DDR3-2133 Kingston Hyper-X Genesis memory, as a gift for all I have done here just because I deserved it, well if there is anything I could of done in return I would of done it, anyways he can always message me if he needs help with anything, it's that I am more than just thankful, more like honored for that part
So here the specs of the system as I plan to build it with the parts I have so far

Aeragon SMP 2016

2x 4C/8T Intel Xeon E5-2637-v2 Ivy-Bridge-EP Engineering Samples @ 8C/16T @ 3.5Ghz Base Speed / 3.8Ghz Max Turbo all cores/threads.
2x Noctua NH-S12U LGA-2011vs coolers
ASUS Z9PE-D8 WS Intel C602 Chipset Native 4-Way & Quad SLI/CFX Support
8x 2GB DDR3-2133 Kingston Hyper-X Genesis High Speed memory @ 2x Quad Channel DDR3-1600.
2x EVGA GTX 480 1.5GB in 2-Way SLI For Testing Purposes **
&
2x EVGA GTX 295 Red Edition 1.75GB in Quad SLI For Testing Purposes **
Onboard Realtek ALC 889 7.1 HD Sound
Dual GigaBit Intel Lan Jacks
1x 1TB Samsung 850 Pro SSD
SeaSonic Platinum X 1000 Watt PSU
Phanteks Enthoo Primo White + Window Kit
3x 30cm Blue CCFL's
2x 30cm White CCFL's
Plextor BluRay ReWriter
4x 2TB WD RE4 7200rpm HDD"s in RAID 1.

Windows 7 Pro x64 + SP1 or Win10 Pro x64 UK..Not certain yet.

** Some parts may change, the GTX 480's and the GTX 295 RE's are to see how this system will perform with a 2-Way SLI and a Quad SLI setup mainly stability purposes etc.

Here some pics of the case:

Here more about it, choose the whitre model :)
Phanteks Enthoo Primo White + Window Kit

At first I wanted to upgrade one on my servers, but since that would be too much of a hassle this will be a new build from me instead, giving jamese101's gear a well deserved home
It's purpose? well I hope to use it for Star Citizen with 2x TITAN X Pascal or 2x AMD RX 490X Vega, anyways something in that direction for sure.
It will also be used as test system to test varied VGA cards, on how they will perform in such an interesting system configuration, which is very new to me, due to that this is my first Dual Intel system since January 28, 2000, aka Gradinko SMP 2000

So this is like building a Dual Pentium 3 all over again just much newer and improved tech... I even wonder of the base of these CPU's still use the P3's base design, that would be cool right.

Anyways here the photo's to begin with

2x 4C/8T Intel Confidential 3.5Ghz Engineering Sample CPU's
That being: 2x Xeon E5-2637-v2 Prototypes

Closeup of these Intel Confidential CPU's Engineering Samples or Prorotypes for that part, my kind of stuff

Also note the Blue/green PCB they have, over the more common dark green or dark brown PCB, a typical Prototype feature

Stay tuned for lots more, as I slowly build this new duallie As the CPU's go I have had many Engineering Samples of VGA cads mainly from 3dfx, ATi & NVIDIA, but now having Engineering Samples fro Intel, is surely a new adventure for me as Prototypes go, and as this was all a free gift from a good old friend from 2CPU.com, I will make something lovely of it, it just will take time since I am 100% disabled, but I promise to make something lovely of it, so stay tuned my EVGA friends for a lot more to come on this new monster of mine

It's no shame, it was a high praised gift from a dear friend, I don't see such thing as a shame.
I mean I can't ask what he will give me  That would be very out of place and very rude, I am really not like that man

Also as new-gen motherboards go; I only stick to Supermicro & ASUS; that is if I'd be buying
My ASUS K8N-DL has been in use for over 10 years and 4 months now, my Supermicro H8DAE-2 has been in use for a good 7 years and 8 months, each to their own for that matter
EVGA is for my NVIDIA GPU's, as where Sapphire is for my AMD GPU's.
Seasonic & Enermax are my faved PSU brands.

This build is far away from complete though, so it may take a lot of time, but then again I hope all goes well, as being I have always been a Dual AMD Opteron guy, so as that goes we'll see how this goes likewise.
Also EVGA makes no Dual Opteron boards, that I find a shame, but not something I could change, even if they did I would, I would of given them a go, just to see how stable they can perform under every workload.

I doubt that I use http://www.abload.de I have many friends in USA seeing my pics just fine really :)
I do use Mozilla Waterfox 49.0.2 btw, it never failed for me either, if you are using Google Chrome I can probably understand on why.
Chrome has lots of such problems, Waterfox is far better anyways just my experience.

Many thanks rjohnson11 & XrayMan , I was a bit worried if I had them on private in my galleryBut thankfully they aren't
It may bea slow project but I will do my best to make this worthwhile though, as I always do try, due to being 100% disabled, the rest will take time, I really would love to have two new-gen high end GPU's in here 1x Sapphire AMD Radeon RX 590X and 1x EVGA NVIDIA TITAN X Pascal something like that, I am not sure yet but it will be something very nice for that part, but different still

I will keep you guys updated , every new part will be photographed in high quality photo's as always, so stay tuned

At the moment my CLUBNET Network setup looks like this:

    Without Flash:

    With Flash:

    From the Dark Side:

    And from the Light:

And this is what is going to happen, as you'd be thinking how in the universe will you add a 4th workstation between all of that ...

Simple my printer will go on a mini table under the desk and the middle system aka Firefox SMP 2006 will stand on that spot, so Yeee for that xD
Aeragon SMP 2016 will stand on the spot Firefox is on now, then I need an A-B Switch for my monitor, speakers, mouse & keyboard, so I can switch between the two

Making the final setup from left to right:

    Blue-Leader SMP 2009
    Dual 6 Core AMD OpteronDP 2435 D0 12 Cores / 12 Threads @ 2.6Ghz  2x 6MB L3

    Aeragon SMP 2016:
    Dual 4Core/8Thread Intel XeonDP E5-2647-v2 ES 8 Cores / 16 Threads @ 3.5Ghz Base / 3.8Ghz Turbo, 2x 15MB L3

    Firefox SMP 2006:
    Dual 2Core AMD OpteronDP 285 E6 OST 4 Cores / 4 Threads @ 2.6Ghz, 2x 2MB L2

    Valkyrie SMP 2014:
    Dual 12 Core AMD OpteronMP 6180 SE D1 24 Cores / 24 Threads @  2.5Ghzm 2x 12MB L3

Why? For Science !  That's why xD
I..I mean it should be possible right

It seems I have to cancel this project mainly due to funding issues and a passed away GPU, I am going to sell the parts, due to my situation from last nights crappy adventure my R9 290X died, horizontal lines on the right side of the scree, I need to save up for a Sapphire AMD Radeon RX 480 8GB Nitro something I can afford, good enough for Primal Carnage Extinction & Fallout 4 @ 1920 x 1200, that is all I play.

Anyways just you all know of my situation.
