I've always liked those WW2 war games. They were fun to play.

Yes, for the love of god, please. I'm so tired of the "heartbeat sensors", "thermal imaging" and all that other BS tech that takes the fun out of the game.
 
World at War was my favorite CoD (Next to CoD4 of course, that one will always hold #1). 

It wouldn't be as good as CoD 2 so I'm still not interested.

How about bigger maps, using actual destruction & vehicles- large scale warfare !? .???  see if the 'biggest' war franchise can make a game to go toe-to-toe w/ Battlefield . That's what I want to see them try .....

I longed for a proper remake of battlefield 1942. To me, every BF game after 1942 was bad. i want to drive carriers, battleships, subs, huge flying fortress bombers, and everything in between, WITH the destruction engine of bad company 2. That would be game of the century to me.

I'd honestly be happy with the return to form of you being a soldier in a larger force.
 
Its ok to have one game where you are a one man army, but when every game does this it gets old. I want to be back in the good old days of COD. In COD4, my favorite mission was the Syrian Invasions cause you had tons of other troops around you. Even if they did nothing. I was just another soldier. The map with the nightvision!? Or the assault on the radio station were both great missions. I want more of those types of missions.

It's been said before, Battlefield and Call of Duty are completely different, So why make them identical?

Maybe instead of a world war 2 game maybe a world war one game or as mentioned previously another war era battle

It is already made, and its on steam and pretty good. It is called Verdun. WW1 game in the same vein as Ro2.

I can see just speed reloading becoming its own mini-game.  I can hear the line from Glory  "A good man can fire 3 aimed shots, in a minute".

Any game with dedicated servers would be welcome. I do no good to the cause, because I keep buying this "stuff" they put out. So much lag...so much lag.

I agree that we need to look elsewhere than WWII and Current/future warfare. I want to see a properly done Vietnam one, the add on maps for BC2 was in no way shape or form properly done. If they have to do a WWII one how about getting into some of the conflict not in japan or europe. Let see some of the african campaigns come across. Sniper Elite 3 touched on this but not very well.

Well, they tried to make a game a while back with Taliban vs US... That got tanked quick because people found it insensitive. We do it with every other war and it is okay..

Either way, I won't be getting into another COD game until I hear truly good reviews from consumers. I won't listen to another magazine or paid reviewer to see what to purchase, again.

I feel the same. I will wait several weeks after release too. Initial customer reviews were raging about CoD AW. Yet, now all you see are negative reviews from customers.
