I liked those era type shooters better than the "future" type of games. Hopefully it will do another WW2 game. Have to wait, and see.   Link

Translation:  We don't possess enough imagination to come up with anything new.  So we'll just start over from the beginning and add newer graphics to our old stuff.

If they made a new WW2 game I would be so pumped and actually want to play it. Unfortunately, I'd have to wait 5 years before it even goes on sale for $40.

So would I! WaW was my first CoD, and I still play it to this day.

I LOVED Advanced Warfare.  Because you had so much boost abilities (up, down, left, right), it really made the game fun.  All the maps were really open which made the gameplay SO fun.

How about we just get away from all the fluff, and just building a solid mechanical game and go from there!

How is Activision going to meet quarterly projections without the revenue stream of Snoop Dog audio and weed skin DLC?

I prefer the WW2 setting than the First World War route that Battlefield 1 took.

I played BF1 the least, of ALL BF titles. I might even buy COD if it will be set in WW2.

We need a Revolutionary War CoD with bayonets, muskets and long reloading animations.

No "Call of Duty: Call of Juarez" (1800 setting) , then no call of duty for me.

I'm a sucker for Call of Duty.  I own every single one ever made - with all DLC's for each one as well.  It would make me beyond sick to do the math of how much $ I have invested into this franchise.

I often buy the game and DLC twice (once on PC and once on consoles as well).  hahahah if I could only get that money back... lol

You should probably ask that question in a Battlefield 1 thread. Not a C.O.D. thread. Just saying!

I'm hoping this game is like CoD 2 with super upgraded graphics.  Shoot - I would love a complete CoD2 remake.  OMGosh would that make me happy! :D

    So back to their roots?

So what they are saying is WW2, Health pickups instead of this lazy duck for 3 seconds and your good, no perks, kill streaks or ranks and just good old fashioned 2003 design shooter?
