https://www.techpowerup.c...to-support-nvidias-sli It looks like AMD is not putting too much effort into SLI support. I assume AMD believes SLI is not widely used enough to support it except with the 370 chipset. That chipset (370) is meant for the top end of the enthusiast market.

That information isn't new at all. Also what happened to not chain linking articles from the same source, the past 3 days you have posted 3-4 articles from techpowerup each day.

By the way why aren't you posting any news articles since you complain a lot about the news section?

Some days are slower than others. This coming week will probably be overshadowed by the World Mobile Congress in Barcelona.

What interesting computer industry is left to post about, after someone has posted 3-6 articles by the time most of us wake up each day. Why does evga management not want to answer how many articles from the same website, before it's "chain linking". The only information i received back is "it's up to the moderators". Leaving it up to the moderators, could lead to not every member being treated the same way. Three or more articles from the same website per day, that should be considered chain linking in my opinion. If it breaking important news about issue with a product etc, i could see an exception being made.

I love how the 300 series, X/A/B 300, has better IO than the A 320. The main point for this is PCIe where 300 series has 4 lanes of gen 3 while A 320 has 4 gen 2 lanes. Also, anyone else notice how weird the lane configuration is, 20 lanes from the CPU (gen 3) on Ryzen and 10 lanes on Bristol Ridge. Also the chipset lanes are odd, 8 on X370, 6 on B350, 4 on A320 all of these are gen 2 and 4 on 300 series which are gen 3. Compare this with intel chipsets found similarly priced boards, namely Z170 and Z270. Z170 has 20 gen 3 lanes and Z270 has 28 gen 3 lanes. Would it have cost that much more to put more lanes on the chipset than they did?

rjohnson11It looks like AMD is not putting too much effort into SLI support.
More like why pay NVIDIA for an SLI license for an $80 budget chipset.
Have water, will cool.

That sounds logical as well.

Also include that nVidia still has majority share of the the dedicated GPU market, so while supporting both would have made sense, supporting at least the largest share ensures compatibility and sales. Although it also shows us that AMD's CPU and GPU group aren't cohesive.
