Of course this entails two RX480s in crossfire versus 1 GTX 1080

Yes, and following the graph, a pair of AMD FuryX also claims the DX12 Crown over two RX480s...
I don't understand these marketing words... Why not say "AMD has DX12 Crown in sub 300$ market?" Is less confusing... Only my .02.

So can nvidia use 2 1060 to take back the crown? Or is using 2 cards in benchmark test amd exclusive? Agreed with megalolman say it took 1st in sub 300 dollar category.

how could they say that in sub 300 market when a 1060 beats them
and you could take two gtx1060 and put them together in mGPU and beat them there as well since you don't need bridges in mGPU

    not crossfire (dx11)- mGPU (dx12)

and of course using normal preset - nothing extreme

They can say it because the GTX1060 is a unreleased card. When Nvidia will launch it? I think is today... When the reviewers test the card against a RX480, if the unofficial benches are accurate, the text of the article is subject to change, lol.

NOTE: I don't consider Nvidia or AMD benches official at all, lol. Lets the reviewers do their unbiased work!

I assume you are referring to the initial post. If so, read the bottom right of the graph.

    I dont see a Preset for time spy... for 1440p. There is for 480p, 576p, 720p, 1080p, 4K, 8K, notta for 1440p.

I wouldn't have Asked, if there was one. So do they mean  2560x1440p or? because 1440p doesn't exist in my line up, but 8K sure does....

Even looked on my laptop, being it has a 4K screen. Still not listed as a preset for 1440p....

What will happen if AMD launch card 10-15% stronger than GTX1080 for same money?
What NVIDIA can do than for their customers who can't afford 1000-1200$ cards?
I mean for people who look for 600-800$ price range.

RX 480 CF 8GB look as great option, depend of temperature, I didn't look that.
And what people talk about some rendering differences ... I saw that on some youtube clip...
Is it possible to people notice that GeForce give lower picture quality...?

I'm against buying graphic card or graphic cards if they work better in few games only if in all others are behind GeForce.
For 3 years on GeForce I didn't found game with stuttering or where I couldn't fix lags for 30min and continue with smooth gaming.
From one side look very attractive if you get for 500$ same performance or better than GTX1080, but looking from completely other side it's bad to look all new games with PhysX or without PhysX but default work better and smoother on NVIDIA. I was very sad with Radeon looking trailers for new games for GeForces. Only from time to time show up some game where Radeon work better and they use that game to compare cards.

I only afraid if Vega show up for 750$ (700-800) example 10-15% stronger than GTX1080 with 16GB HBM2. And than we could choose...
Slower GTX1080 for similar price as Vega or investing 1000-1200$ for little stronger GeForce,
that's very bad situation for people who max could pay 800 for cards.
