Just a comment... For me it is not about the BR. It is about a member of our community showing that there are in fact a few folks still here that see the bigger picture. And not a bunch of childish story writing Doing what is right for another person shows the true value of a person. Over any post or thread ever made. Period. Slagar has shown once again that humanity is still out there Bravo man Bravo..... And that is how I feel about that.

My personal top goal was to express gratitude, but the second most important thing was to demonstrate the goodness of people. It's very easy to get depressed about the world when watching the news, reading dumb online comments, seeing people on the road, etc... But this kind of stuff makes you remember not to lose faith in people. What awesome things people accomplish especially when it really counts.

I have had a horrible day and just stopped by to check in. Glad I did. Reading this helped. People are indeed good and want to help others, this post only proves what sometimes we all forget. Slagar, thank you for what you did.

Wow, I was just strolling through the forums doing a search for an old thread and I stumbled upon this. I've been pretty busy lately and didn't even notice this. I just want to thanks for all the support from you guys and especially Warthorn, if it wasn't for him I wouldn't have this amazing i7 920. And Warthorn, I respect you very much and appreciate the time you took to write that post. If I can ever help you again I will. I didn't even notice the message you sent me sorry about that. You guys are the best and I don't need a blue ribbon or any recognition, I just appreciate being able to help out. Thanks guys!

Those who abuse power, are nothing but scumbags! The challenge of power is how to use it and not abuse it. When you abuse it, it reverses on you and it hurts you.The abuse of power that seems to create the most unhappiness is when a person uses personal power to get ahead without regards to the welfare of others, people are obsessed with it. You can take a nice person and turn them into a slob, into an insane being, craving power, destroying anything that stands in their way.

It's great to see there are stand up people out there willing to help others they may not really know that well. It seems like the population of "do gooders" is on the downslide but it's stories like this that inspire others. Hat's off to you slagar Cheers! PS... somone should prob tell him it's not safe to run with scissors...
