I've been getting a lot of PM's and chatting with people on Steam about the games I've been giving away. A lot of people don't understand my behavior and more than once I've been asked how I can afford to do this. I'm giving the gifts from myself to the people who want them or at least I think deserve them. I'm not a representative for any company or a viral marketer. I'm 35 and I've been blessed to have full time employment. I was saving up a wad of money for two GTX 580 3GB cards and instead of buying those I decided to give away some games and cheer up someone's day. I'll be sending games to as many people as I can as long as my finances permit. I like to set aside some money for new components and other fun things like a responsible person should. That's where I'm getting my funds from. I have no connection whatsoever to Duke Nukem or any computer company. At this point I'm giving the games on a first come first served basis. Unless something financially positive changes I will probably not be giving anymore games out until next month. I'm sorry to disappoint anyone and I'm not stopping just taking a small break. Your understanding in this matter is greatly appreciated. I Love you all!

i've witnessed brcromer's kindness to others when I started using the forums here. I also thought he was affiliated with some organization but soon realized his motivation was pure generosity. It's very rare to find people like that. You're an inspiration man!

Ninja Turtles :P Yeah, I can say this about the man he IS the ONLY generous person I've ever had the privileged of meeting. First it was a small competition for a Hawx 2 game code (expired, but he bought me Crysis 2 anyway....sweet) then a 570 vanilla (he told me to pick one so i went tri sli) then a PSU because I was unsure how well mine would handle three cards. The man is a saint in this day and age. I agree that some may think he's odd for this, but he's one of very few folks in the world that makes a person keep their faith in humanity. That there are still not just good people, but people who go above and beyond to show everyone else what it's like to have a heart of gold. BR I failed in my ploy as you already know to repay you, but some day you will receive something on your doorstep that you can't return, and Karma is delivering it.
Man is capable of as much atrocities as he has imagination. People are, well, only human. We know that. The rule of law is borne out in identifying, condemning, and punishing those who violate the standards on which we all agree. This is exactly what we do in America.
